Undermining the Public Trust.
I mentioned it last night. Was that it?
It was very interesting that Gitmo is now being re-opened using Obama's adherence to international law and UDHR. We had a bit of a conversation about what the public trust meant. People kept going to Wikipedia's node for "public trust", but the "public trust doctrine" page was far more elucidating, and closer to what (I think) POTUS was talking about.
The Public Trust:
https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_trust_doctrine
The public trust doctrine is the principle that the sovereign holds in trust for public use some resources such as shoreline between the high and low tide lines, regardless of private property ownership.
>Federal Workers undermining property held in trust for the public, undermining the POTUS/sovereign.
You're on the right track.
So, does this mean that the "Very Special" place is likely Gitmo? Are we sending US Citizens there?
Aren't most of these people forced to expatriate before being able to hold their office (thinking Secretary of State primarily)?
I'm a little worried as an expat (think Cliven Bundy-type) that I could be heading to Gitmo if I return to the US.
