Not about blood sacrifices, Jesus demonstrated God's covenant with man from the grave, he could have received God's Light entirely when he was transfigured, but how would that have given the unaccomplished man any hope, who hasn't even seen the Light, let alone received it. It was for your benefit, that you might believe and find the door that God left open, the transfiguration, and not suffer nor die, but be transfigured.
