Siemens Mobility has been shortlisted by the California High-Speed Rail Authority to supply and maintain the trainsets for the high-speed rail project under construction in the state. Now poised to respond to the Request for Proposal, Siemens Mobility will detail how its trainsets are best for the project. Set to help mitigate climate change by being carbon neutral and electrified, California High-Speed Rail will eventually connect California from north to south at 220 mph, spanning nearly 500 miles between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
