WTF just happened
In Minnesota, sometime prior to 2017, a news article came out reporting that by a certain date (now way in the past) Minnesotans would need Real ID in order to board DOMESTIC flights. Reason given was the standard process for getting a driver license in MN was not strict enough. So my family and I all got this new ID and since then they keep pushing the date up and pushing the date up.
The article stated ours was one of a number of states affected by this.
