[Foreign election interference. Time to deport the Chinese agents and Chinese illegals?]

Report: Boston Mayor Michelle Wu Funded by Chinese Communist Party Intelligence Official

Far-left Boston Mayor Michelle Wu (D) received hundreds of thousands of dollars to her 2021 campaign from a fundraiser who is a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) intelligence official, an investigation by the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) recently uncovered.

Wu’s mayoral campaign was the recipient of more than $300,000 fundraised by Gary Yu, the commissioner of the Asian American & Pacific Islanders Commission and president of the New England Chinese American Alliance, the DCNF reported.

Yu, whose Chinese name is Yu Guoliang, is listed as an official in the United Front Work Department (UFWD) — the CCP’s intelligence- and influence-gathering agency that operates overseas, including in the U.S.

The DCNF also reported that Yu operates as a recruiter for the Chinese government, citing Chinese state media reports and civic associations led by Yu to back up these claims.

Wu, whose parents immigrated to the U.S. from Taiwan after her grandparents moved the family from mainland China, has recently made headlines for criticizing President Donald Trump for cracking down on illegal immigration in her sanctuary city.

“The Communist Party’s UFWD never rests,” China expert Gordon Chang told the DCNF. “There is no ethnic Chinese official in America who is not targeted. It’s time for law enforcement to investigate the CCP’s ties to Gary Yu and Yu’s ties to Mayor Michelle Wu.”

The UFWD also has significant roots in Minnesota, with ties to failed Democrat vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz.

[Actual racist: Michelle Wu, Mayor of Boston.]

Boston's Democrat Mayor Michelle Wu DEFENDS 'no whites' holiday party she's hosting for 'electeds of color' at taxpayer-funded city reception hall

The Democratic mayor of Boston has sparked outrage after inviting city councilors to a holiday party intended only for 'electeds of color.'

Michelle Wu's invitation for the December 13 'Electeds of Color Holiday Party' appeared to have been sent out to all councilors in error by her aide, Denise DosSantos.

DosSantos followed up the email 15 minutes later apologizing for the invite, clarifying that it was only meant for the city's six councilors of color. The seven white council members were not welcome.

[Got another one. This time the radicalized student alien is at Tufts in Boston. Why this case was transferred to Vermont District Court is a mystery.]

Vermont federal judge declines to rule on bail request for Tufts student detained by ICE

A federal judge in Vermont reportedly declined to rule on a request Monday for the release of Rümeysa Öztürk, a Tufts graduate student who was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers outside her Somerville apartment last month.

Judge William K. Sessions III, who sits in Vermont District Court, said he could not consider Öztürk’s request to be released on bail until he rules on whether the court has jurisdiction over a petition challenging the legality of her detention, The Boston Globe reported.

During a telephone conference Monday, Sessions ordered Öztürk’s lawyers and the government to file supplemental court briefs by Thursday at 5 p.m., according to court records.

Öztürk’s case was originally filed in Boston before a federal judge transferred the case Friday to Vermont District Court. Sessions told lawyers that if the court has no jurisdiction over the case, then it cannot rule on Öztürk’s petition, according to the Globe.

Ramzi Kassem, one of more than a dozen lawyers representing Öztürk, urged Simmons to release her and asserted that the court has the power to do so, the Globe reported.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Drescher argued that immigration law prevents federal district courts from having jurisdiction over ICE’s actions and that Öztürk’s case should be decided in immigration court, according to the Globe.

Sessions set Öztürk’s next hearing for April 14, court records show.

Öztürk, 30, is a Turkish national and Fulbright Scholar who is pursuing a doctorate in Tufts’ Child Study and Human Development department. She was taken into custody by masked ICE agents March 25. She is currently being held at the South Louisiana Correctional Center in Basile, La.

Öztürk’s attorneys say she was targeted because she co-authored an op-ed in the Tufts student newspaper that criticized the university’s response to student government resolutions regarding the war in Gaza. They say that her detainment violates her First Amendment right to free speech, according to a petition for a writ of habeas corpus.
