I recall a while back a lady whistleblower who used to work for one of the NGOs helping new arrivals get situated said that they were instructed to get everyone they could on to benefits right away, including social security and social security disability. It didn't appear at all that the newcomers were trying to scam the system, nope, the scamming was done by the middlemen. Hope they kept good records…..

imagine back in the day. a farmer living in a sod house in N Dakota tryna get through the winter alive, they would have no idea what was going on halfway around the world.
