Rather, expect the Obama appointee to enter another scathing order demanding details and actions. But with its core executive powers at stake, the Trump Administration cannot comply.

The justices should have foreseen this standoff and defused the situation last week by clearly defining the limits of the lower court’s authority. The Supreme Court’s continuing failure to do so is wreaking havoc on the reputation of the courts — and our constitutional order.

An advisor to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was put on leave for leaking.

Dan Caldwell was escorted out of the Pentagon on Tuesday for “an unauthorized disclosure,” according to Reuters.

Details of the unauthorized disclosure are unclear.

According to Reuters, this comes after a March 21 memo ordering a Pentagon investigation into leaks ordered by Pete Hegseth’s chief of staff.Reuters reported:

One of U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s top advisors, Dan Caldwell, was escorted out of the Pentagon on Tuesday after being identified during an investigation into leaks at the Department of Defense, a U.S. official told Reuters.

Caldwell, a senior advisor to Pete Hegseth, was placed on administrative leave for “an unauthorized disclosure,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. The decision has not been previously reported.

“The investigation remains ongoing,” the official said.

Speaking to voters, Friedman bragged that House Democrats have established a so-called “litigation working group,” aka “shadow government,” comprised of approximately 75 sitting members of Congress who gather behind closed doors every week to craft legal strategies in conjunction with state AGs — the same AGs who have brought politically motivated lawsuits and investigations against Trump, his businesses, his allies, and his policies.

“Every single week, we have a litigation working group where a large group of us—and I’m talking maybe 75 members of the House—sit down with the AGs to talk about legal strategy,” said Friedman.

“This is all going on every single week behind the scenes. It is nonstop talk, nonstop introduction of bills and legislation, nonstop being on social media as much as we can without being throttled, without the crazy analytics, and doing all these things.”Friedman’s admission lays bare the hypocrisy of a party that lectures about “democracy” while secretly colluding to subvert the will of the voters.

Their so-called “legal strategy” is nothing more than lawfare—a desperate attempt to cripple Trump’s ability to deliver on his promises, from restoring economic prosperity to draining the swamp. And who’s footing the bill for this circus? You, the American taxpayer.
