Nobody mentioned Gibraltar
It's an interesting place
Not a country
But a poessession of another country
Because its inhabitants
Mostly came from the other country
And do NOT want to be part of a neighboring country
Now consider the Autonomous Republic of Crimea circa 2013
It was not a country
But the possession of a neighboring country
But since the inhabitants mostly came from another country
And did not want to be part of the neighboring country
They voted overwhelmingly to join another country.
Wouldn't it be interesting
If Crimea decides
That as long as it can be close friends with Russia
It is happy to be an INDEPENDENT country?
to join back
Because there is no way in hell
That the people of Crimea
Are going to join back with neighboring Ukraine
A hellhole of corruption and criminality
That gave the Soviet Union 70%
Of its gulag prisoners
On the other hand
If Ukraine restructures as a Federal country
More like the EU or the United States or Canada
Then Crimea might be willing to join that
As long as that federation
Due to its location
Has a constitutional special relationship
With Russia and Belarus.
That is one way for the three brothers to become one again
And fulfill that line in the prophecy that makes the rounds
Every once in a while.
