Think about this.

Trump admin should make an offer to people in prison, especially lifers, to request to be put to death, to end the endless cost of housing. Make offer to any inmate that is willing and in return a minimum dollar amount can be sent to their victims and their own families as a benefit.

The prisoner may want to do this as it may free their minds of their crimes. They get to choose. No coercion . And record on film the prisoner in own voice stating they want this. So no confusion, they took the offer. I bet many would. They pick the day and time, last meals, etc. The prisoner gets to speak to any religious person they would like, they can absolve themself and get a cash onetime payment to whomever in their family they wish the cash to go to and the victims or victim family also. A small cost even if a million dollars. The math to house lifers is massive. This would be way less expensive. All choice. If no takers, fine. But if millions say they are ready to be set free by death, their choice. All the funds would be one time and would in one fell swoop eliminate all the millions that it costs for housing the prisoners. So many on the left are for abortion and Euthanasia so they would look stupid complaining, if the individual person wants to participate. Even just bringing it up would cause so much uproar, but even the bible says murderers and rapist should be put to death.

So left and right can really not even argue any of it, as it would be voluntarily administered.

Even include full burial and headstone for the prisoner, whatever they wish all paid for.

All would be way cheaper than the current arraignment.
