It's becoming a major issue, and it's not just retirees either. All the housewives who don't even have kids, WFH do-nothing people, immigrants that for whatever reason don't work yet still have cars, unhireable gen Z in their mom's car ect. Every road, highway and interstate in America has become borderline unusable due to so many people having absolutely nowhere to be in the middle of the day. I see it all day, we live in a very lazy society now where being a do-nothing waddling around the grocery store in your pajama pants on a Monday morning has become the new flex. The old people being 50% of the population everywhere now and absolutely refusing to not be underfoot 24/7 is just insult to injury.
That and flying cars.
I did that last time and nothing happened. My city's politics are a joke, the communists and lunatics will win by 90% every time because the city's population is legitimately too stupid and insane to govern their affairs now.
