This is very interesting.

Football is as common as bread and butter for all people in England/EU and dont be surprised to see the Premier League clubs and star players being used to help push the block on Brexit.

Keep an eye on this anons, keep in mind the Premier League is dominated by foreign players and some of the biggest clubs are owned by foreign businessmen - in actual fact in all tiers of the game.

Football is emotional to say the least, and if you are a Chelsea supporter for example, you wouldnt want to see Eden Hazard leave leave due to new visa restrictions or something or other.

Keep in mind also that the PL has only been around since 1992 (IIRC) and before that it was dominated by Brits players and coaches and they were still competetive in European Cup matches.
