I wanted to get a bake in for optics, but the truth is I'm fucking exhausted. Did physical labor in the heat today and now even keyboarding makes my muscles twitch, kek.

I'm gonna take baker's advice then and "go about my bidniz" (kek). Mostly. Will just lurk here and there, no shadowbaking (Thank God, lol).

Oh God, the anons are going to HATE that. It also puts BO in the position of having to reverse a decision, which creates bad feels in orgs on all sides. Admitting a mistake is one thing, but many agreed with his decision, including me. Too many anons were against trips, and he sided with chaos over forced structure, which is the preferred default for chan culture. For him to have done otherwise was to risk appearing authoritarian. He took enough of a hit over letting The Ultimate Namefag go from staff, he needs to be as hands-off as possible to maintain confidence. I'm not saying trips might not be the least of evils, just saying it will be at a big cost. If it has to be done, it's better to go back to it after trying at least one other thing.
What about this: what if we IDEN using "last bake #" since BO/BV have to czech anyway, and often just post our hash history. Anons who care to verify their baker before offering up time/diggs can go back and see their bread product. Anons that don't have a recent bread history are unknowns anyway, BO/BV just watches over, as now. This is similar to the kind of limited anonymity we have as anons. Most of us track ID's if unsure how to read a given post. We don't know who says what, but we know what else they say. Similar for baking then: we won't necessarily know who a baker is, just what he bakes.
I don't wanna eat up the bread with this discussion, just wanted to reply to that last at least. TY for all you do for us, baker
