Complaint of board rules and standards being breeched
Bakers, Board owner, autists and anons,Can any of you explain how to fuck this post was even possible, this post has 34 freakin long paragraphs, the most anons have been able to post is about 11 to 13, paragraphs? How and why how iis this even allowed? The only way I can figure it was done, is the baker, helper or anon, stopped the limit on length for the post, and then notabled it by bots collecting. I had to take 8 pics on this one post to include it all. What most anons do if the whole thing doesn’t fit, it’s broken up in sections, like 1/3, 2/3, 3/3.
The Rubio and SOS article was notabled 4-6 times yesterday at least, and then again at night.
Are their different rules for night shift baker or anons, I don’t think so. I’ve noticed on nightshift only, not every night, but another weird situation. At times there are multiple posts with the title of the article and linksonly, with no content; and many times, notabled. Look at yesterday mornings notables, 6 or 7 am if you don’t believe me. Previously board and anons standards, at least the notable posts had 2-3 paragraphs of the article for content and why it’s important. It’s a fucking waste of time to force anons to go off the board to read it.
Maybe the baker or anon, is sending out AI or a bot to collect article titles and links only to get notables? Maybe someone just wants to speed up the nightshift, I don’t really know but it’s pretty annoying.
This used to be a Research Board, can we freaking get back to that? At this point it’s just an aggregation of news, not even news, really just links and titles.There are still anons that want to do research.Can we get back to prior standards?
See below, this has been stated before, titles are not necessarily the context of the article, that’s why so many titles of news have lies or exaggerations in them. Thats why it’s says to “to rope people in”;
Picking the perfect title:
David Ogilvy once said that the headline is the most important part of any article. It determineswhether your reader will be roped into the rest of your piece or not.
He was right. The headline is the first meeting the reader has with an article; it is what jumps at the reader and shortly informs them what the article is about. If the headline does not peak the reader’s interest, they will not even bother with the rest of the article. Here are some tips on picking the perfect title.
