Enough is enough: Growing calls to suspend Habeas Corpus…

April 23, 2025 (3 hours ago)

The Biden regime’s illegal invasion is real. And while President Trump works to end it, the left’s activist judges are working overtime to block all serious efforts to stop it. We’ve reached the point now where MS-13 gangbangers are treated like victims, and Americans who demand security are smeared as “extremists” and “racists.” Our judicial system has been hijacked to protect illegals, not American citizens—and now, more people are asking the question: what can President Trump legally do to stop it?

Well, here’s the good news. He has a mighty weapon at his disposal: Habeas Corpus. (He said for illegals only)

Let’s start with the basic argument many supporters are making: Habeas Corpus is a legal protection that gives people the right to appear before a judge before they’re detained or deported. In normal times, it’s a key part of due process. But sadly, thanks to the left, these aren’t normal times—we’re dealing with a full-blown invasion, thanks to Joe Biden’s failed regime. And the Constitution allows for Habeas Corpus to be suspended in this type of national emergency.

President Trump would be well within his rights to suspend it—just like Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, and FDR did during times of war or national crisis. No matter what the media jackals might say, it’s not reckless. It’s constitutional. And now, thanks to growing sentiment, more Americans are waking up to this idea.

And that brings us to a recent segment on Steve Bannon’s WarRoom, where journalist Rogan O’Handley laid out exactly why Trump should consider using this power.

DC Draino:

Enough is enough – it’s time for President Trump to consider suspending the writ of Habeas Corpus to deport the millions of illegal aliens who invaded our country

It’s in the Constitution – Article 1, Section 9

It’s allowed when there is an invasion

• FDR used it

• Lincoln used it

• Ulysses S. Grant used it

And all their faces ended up on our national currency

I hope Trump suspends habeas to repel this historic invasion – we’re more than ready to defend him and take our country back

O’Handley made a great argument for this move: we’re in a historic invasion, the system is rigged against the American people, and President Trump needs to take bold, decisive action to cut through the roadblocks the activist judges are throwing our way. Suspending Habeas would allow mass deportations without sinking in legal quicksand—because right now, the courts are being used not to uphold the law; they’ve been politicized and weaponized.

And as O’Handley points out, this move wouldn’t be some fringe fantasy. It’s literally written right into Article 1, Section 9 of the Constitution.

And bonus, it’s been done before—and it was done by presidents who are literally celebrated and revered.

https://revolver.news/2025/04/enough-is-enough-growing-calls-to-suspend-habeas-corpus/

In essence these judges that still have no jurisdiction can even have a court case, cannot judge on any of the illegals being deported. Yes President Donald J. Trump can do this, and even the Supreme Court cannot interfere

habeas corpus

OVERVIEW:

Latin for "that you have the body." In theUS system, federal courts can use the writ of habeas corpus to determine if a state's detention of a prisoner is valid. A writ of habeas corpus is used to bring a prisoner or other detainee (e.g. institutionalized mental patient)before the court to determine if the person's imprisonment or detention is lawful. A habeas petition proceeds as a civil action against the State agent (usually a warden) who holds the defendant in custody. It can also be used to examine any extradition processes used, the amount of bail , and the jurisdiction of the court.

Hey Anons,

I think Cornell Law edited their website on Habeas Corpus, because they say only Congress can enact suspending the writ of Habeas Corpus, when it was only designated as the Executive, it was originally called the "Right of Kings", so Congress there are no Kings, but the WH has one so to speak.

Turpin 518 US 1051 (1996) and McCleskey v. Zant 499 US 467 (1991).

HABEAS CORPUS IN THE U.S. TODAY

The sources of habeas corpus can be found in the Constitution , statutory law, and case law . The Suspension Clause of the Constitution (Article I, Section 9, Clause 2) , states: “The Privileges of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it.” Although the Constitution does not specifically create the right to habeas corpus relief, federal statutes provide federal courts with the authority to grant habeas relief to state prisoners.

English courts began actively considering petitions for habeas corpus in 1600.While habeas corpus had initially originated as an instrument in opposition to the king’s “divine right to incarcerate people,” there were many other constables and other authorities during those times, who imprisoned people for various reasons. Accordingly, habeas corpus also developed as the king's role to demand account for his subject who is restrained of his liberty by other authorities.

Only Congress has the power to suspend the writ of habeas corpus, either by its own affirmative actions or through an express delegation to the Executive. The Executive does not have the independent authority to suspend the writ

I call BULLSHIT on this because it was three presidents before that enacted suspending the writ.

I'm going to keep on bringing this to the attention of the Baker and anons, this below is NOT notable, its lazy shit and lazy, to not even post 2-3 paragraphs. Making anons leave the board to read or retrieve it wastes time, and interferes with the research on the board. Looking through notables there's at least 12 examples of Title and link as being notable. Doing this is a mis-defintion of NOTABLE, the content is notable not a title and link.

Tell me baker, is the Bot collecting notables, and not you? If so that is the problem. Can you fix this if true. Or is a bot sent out to collect Titles and links on other sites? because they are all done the same way. with no bold letters or changes.

I doubt a live Baker scoops these up because he thinks anons commented on it, and makes them notable without viewing. No wonder we are bloated with notables.

Former Biden ‘disinformation czar’ begs European Parliament to fight ‘US autocracy’…

April 23, 2025 (5 hours ago)The Wicked Witch of Propaganda is Back…1/2

The left doesn’t use words to tell the truth—they use words to control. That’s why we get movements named things like Black Lives Matter, ANTIFA, and Disinformation Governance Board. The names aren’t honest. They’re weapons wrapped in some delusional moral packaging and marketed to make you look like a monster if you dare to question them.

• Don’t support BLM? Oh, you must hate black people.

• Push back on ANTIFA? Wow, you love fascism; you’re literally Hitler!

• Question COVID lockdowns, the vaccine, or the 2020 election? You’re a threat to our precious democracy.

None of this is truth or justice, and it’s not even activism at this point—it’s psychological warfare.

And of course, one of the left’s favorite psychological catchphrases is “disinformation.”

But in all honesty, what the left calls “disinformation” is just info they don’t like. It’s the truth that threatens their grip on power. Whether it’s the lab-leak theory, vaccine side effects, rigged elections, or Hunter’s laptop from hell—the so-called “disinformation” has a way of turning out to be… 100 percent right.

And one of the original faces of this twisted movement is none other than the Clown Queen of Disinformation herself: Nina Jankowicz. Yes, she’s back in the news—and now she’s gone global. If you don’t remember her, consider yourself lucky.

Watch Nina in cringe action:

She was Biden’s former “Disinformation Czar”—a failed, cringe-inducing TikTok theater nerd turned Marxist hall monitor. Nina became the poster child for a government scheme to control what Americans are allowed to say, hear, and think.

Thanks to Revolver and other conservative influencers and outlets who refused to shut up and bow down to Nina, her Orwellian little gig at DHS was exposed and dismantled.

The truth is, we’ve been calling out Nina and her entire disinformation racket for years.

Years ago, we exposed Nina Jankowicz for what she really was—not just some TikTok clown playing karaoke night, but a deep state foot soldier tied to one of the most disturbing censorship operations in the West. As Revolver reported,Nina’s name showed up in the “Integrity Initiative,” a super shady UK-funded network that secretly mobilized journalists, spies, and bureaucrats to push government propagandaunder the fake guise of fighting disinformation. This push was one of the earliest game plans for how the left now uses NGOs and media to control speech and silence dissent—and Nina was right in the thick of it.

Revolver:

As Revolver and others have covered, Nina “Moaning Myrtle” Jankowicz is a joke. The Harry Potter superfan-turned-propagandrix is now the Biden Administration’s chosen head for the “Disinformation Governance Board.”

Among many other embarrassing videos in circulation is the following clip of Nina Jankowicz bizarrely and emphatically dismissing the notion of the so-called “deep state.”

Whatever one thinks of the precise term “deep state,” Nina badly wants everyone to dismiss the very concept of secret groups operating within Washington. She works “with and around” them after all, and she says such a cabal or network of cabals does not exist.

2/2

In fact, Nina does know the truth, and it’s the opposite of what she claims above. Nina’s name appeared in one of the most explosive and aggressively censored national security leaks of the century. The leak in question exposed the “Integrity Initiative,” a dark government-funded NGO that appears to have engaged in political meddling and covert influence operations in Western countries under the guise of fighting “disinformation.”

Founded in mid-2015 under the auspices of the U.K. government-funded NGO “Institute for Statecraft,” the Integrity Initiative boasted a precociously fashionable motto: “Defending Democracy Against Disinformation.”

The Integrity Initiative “defended democracy” by recruiting secretive “clusters” of academics, national security bureaucrats, journalists, think tankers, and lobbyists in multiple European countries. These clusters would then be engaged in various ways to address nation-specific threats of so-called “Russian disinformation.”

In its organization, funding, operation, structure, and rhetoric the Integrity Initiative is the single best template for understanding how the entire hornets’ nest of NGOs, journalists, and “national security” bureaucrats work secretly and in concert to wage psychological warfare against citizens of the West.

One cannot understand how the Disinformation Industry functions without understanding the little-known (and now defunct) Integrity Initiative.

You can read the entire article by clicking below:

And now? Nina’s not just back—she’s gone global.

Nina Jankowicz just spoke to the European Parliament, pushing her speech-control crusade across the pond. And here’s the real kicker—she actually called the United States an autocracy… in front of European lawmakers.

And for those who aren’t sure what autocracy means, it’s simple: one person or group that has total control—no checks, no balance, no real freedom.

That’s what Nina—and the entire left—think of America under Trump: a president who won the popular vote and built one of the broadest, most powerful political movements in modern history.

Nina begged Euros to stand against us.This is what a global censorship campaign looks like, and Nina is out there leading it—smearing her own country, trying to build an international coalition to crush political dissent.

Watch:

Nina Jankowicz isn’t just embarrassing herself on the world stage—she’s feeding the very global machine that’s trying to crush free speech in the US.

Her little speech to the European Parliament is just the latest sign that the left’s censorship campaign still has gas and is going international. And while she’s out there begging foreign governments to treat America like an autocracy, President Trump is one of the few leaders taking action against this tyrannical censorship—especially when it comes to the UK, which is sliding dangerously close to a North Korea-style dictatorship that crushes free speech.

This entire censorship fight isn’t about politics. It’s about survival—of speech, of truth, and of freedom itself. The good news is that the American people are waking up. And when they rise, no globalist censorship regime stands a chance.

Link to Nina in EU.

Paramount’s Shari Redstone Says Freedom of the Press Means ‘Giving the Facts, Not Opinions’Exclusive

The non-executive chairwoman spoke with TheWrap at the premiere of the documentary “Children of October 7,” hours after “60 Minutes” EP Bill Owens quit the newsmagazine show

April 22, 2025 @ 7:15 PM

Just hours after the surprise resignation of “60 Minutes” boss Bill Owens, Paramount Global non-executive chairwomanShari Redstone described her views on the role of media in the current era, and what freedom of speech means.(Isn’t that Kamala’s friend?)

Speaking to TheWrap after the premiere of the documentary “Children of October 7,” Redstone said,“there is nothing controversial about telling the truth. There’s nothing controversial about getting the real story out there.

And I think companies have not only an opportunity, but a tremendous responsibility, to use the resources that they have to tell these stories and to get them to as many audiences, let people decide how they feel about something and how they react to something, but give them the facts.”

Asked how she balances press freedom with the financial demands of media companies, Redstone said, “I don’t think there’s ever a time you have to compromise what it is that you say and do,but freedom of the press involves telling both sides of the story, giving the facts, not giving opinions.

And I think that’s our responsibility as a media company.”

“The days of Walter Cronkite, where, whatever it is, people believed in the truth, people really crave the information they need to be independent and make their own judgments. That’s what freedom of speech is,” Redstone added.

Redstone however declined to talk about “60 Minutes” or Owens’ resignation.

Owens, a 37-year CBS News employee, 24 of those years at “60 Minutes,” announced his resignation Tuesday morning. In a staff meeting, he said part that the show’s independence had been effectively revoked due to CBS parent company Paramount’s $20 billion lawsuit with President Donald Trump.

Oliver Darcy later reported in his Status newsletter that Owens also told staff “I am the corporation’s problem.” And Semafor reported Tuesday night thathis resignation followed recent heightened scrutiny from Redstone herself, who “sought to know which upcoming ’60 Minutes’ stories were about President Donald Trump.”

An insider with knowledge of the matter told TheWrap, however, that Redstone had no role in CBS or “60 Minutes” newsroom matters. The insider also said such matters were under the purview of Susan Zirinsky, the interim executive editor who previously served as president of CBS News.

This is why CBS is trying to change their tune, the problem is the entire company has lied for so many years they don’t even know the truth: April 13, 2025 posting article next

Trump has an ongoing $20 billion lawsuit against “60 Minutes” for how it edited an interview with Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris last fall.

“In his social media message, Trump said “60 Minutes” was no longer a news show but “a dishonest Political Operative simply disguised as ‘News,’ and must be responsible for what they have done, and are doing.”

President Trump says CBS and ’60 Minutes’ should ‘pay a big price’ for going after him

BY DAVID BAUDER Updated 11:50 PM EDT, April 13, 2025

President Donald Trumpbitterly attacked“60 Minutes” shortly after the CBS newsmagazine broadcast stories on Ukraine and Greenland on Sunday, saying the network was out of control and should “pay a big price” for going after him.

“Almost every week, 60 Minutes … mentions the name ‘TRUMP’ in a derogatory and defamatory way, but this Weekend’s ‘BROADCAST’ tops them all,” the president said on his Truth Social platform. He called on Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr to impose maximum fines and punishment “for their unlawful and illegal behavior.”

The network had no immediate comment.

Trump has an ongoing $20 billion lawsuit against “60 Minutes” for how it edited an interview with Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris last fall.

The president claims it was edited in a way to make Harris look good, something the newscast denies. But there are ongoing reports that Trump’s lawyers and CBS’ parent company are involved in settlement talks.

(Trump is probably doing the same he did with the Law Firms, lower the price of his settlement, but CBS has to stop everyone there lying. That makes sense, he's giving them advice to correct the problem. Hence that's why Redstone gave that speech or advice.)

Carr and the FCC have launched a parallel investigation of CBS News about the same case, one of several that it has undergone that also involve ABC News, NBC, PBS, NPR and the Walt Disney Co.

Despite the legal battle, “60 Minutes” has been unstinting in its coverage of Trump’s administration since he took office for a second term, particularly correspondent Scott Pelley. He traveled to Ukraine to conduct an interview with that country’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the site of a Russian attack where nine children were killed earlier this month.

In the interview broadcast on Sunday, Zelenskyy said he has “100%” hatred for Russian President Vladimir Putin for the invasion of Ukraine, and invited Trump to his visit his country to see what has been done.

Also Sunday, correspondentJon Wertheim reported from Greenlandon what some people in that nation are saying about Trump’s desire to take control.

In his social media message, Trump said “60 Minutes” was no longer a news show but “a dishonest Political Operative simply disguised as ‘News,’ and must be responsible for what they have done, and are doing.”

https://apnews.com/article/trump-cbs-60-minutes-2c8a32df63f3ec50cfffe94a26436fda

So CBS flies around the world and collects gossip and haters statements on President Trump, it’s doubtful any of those correspondents will ever change their tactic of condemnation of Trump and MAGA, no matter who says we need to change at CBS.

PS: Chief of 60 Minutes Bill Owens quit because Management tried to stop him from getting all the staff and TV people of repeating lies, gossip and made up stories about Trump, anyone related to Trump, and anyone that likes Trump.

Book publishers see surging interest in the US Constitution and print new editionsBy Hillel Italie Updated 9:07 AM EDT, April 23, 2025

NEW YORK (AP) — When Random House Publisher Andrew Ward met recently with staff editors to discuss potential book projects, conversation inevitably turned to current events and the Trump administration.

“It seemed obvious that we needed to look back to the country’s core documents,” Ward said. “And that we wanted to get them out quickly.”

On Wednesday, Random House announced that it would publish a hardcover book in July combining the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, followed in November by a hardcover edition of the Federalist Papers. Both books include introductions by Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Jon Meacham, who has written biographies of Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson among others.

The Random House volumes, released through its Modern Library imprint, will join a prolific market that has surged in recent months. According to Circana, which tracks around 85% of the print retail market, editions of theDeclaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers and the U.S. Constitution are selling at their fastest pace since Circana began compiling numbers in 2004.

Around162,000combined copies have sold through mid-April, compared to58,000during the same time period the year before and around 33,000 in 2023. Sales were around 92,000 in the early months of Trump’s first term, in 2017, more than double the pace of 2016.

Brenna Connor, a book industry analyst for Circana, said the jump “is likely in response to the recent change of administration” and cited increased interest in other books about democracy and government, among them Timothy Snyder’s “On Tyranny” and the Michael Lewis-edited “Who Is Government?” a collection of essays about civil servants by Dave Eggers, Geraldine Brooks, Sarah Vowell and others.

“This pursual of political understanding is playing out in a few different areas,”Connor added.

Meacham, during a recent phone interview with The Associated Press, said that the founders had sought to make sense of a revolutionary era — whether breaking with England or debating how to form a federal government with enough power to rule effectively, without giving it the kind of monarchical authority that enraged the colonies.

Reading the Declaration and other texts, he believes, can give today’s public a similar sense of mission and guiding principles.

“It is a tumultuous moment … to put it kindly,” Meacham said. “One way to address the chaos of the present time, what Saint Paul would call the ‘tribulations’ of the present time, is to re-engage with the essential texts that are about creating a system that is still worth defending.”

The Modern Library books will have many competitors. The 18th century documents all are in the public domain, can be read for free online and anyone can publish them. According to Circana, popular editions have been released by Skyhorse, Penguin, Barnes & Noble and others.

“We generally see increased sales of editions of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution every election cycle, but particularly this year,” said Shannon DeVito, Barnes & Noble’s senior director of book strategy.

“This could be because next year marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence,”she said, “or the fast and furious current political conversations and policy changes.”

https://apnews.com/article/constitution-declaration-independence-federalist-sales-meacham-5566e2c9ea4206f335dd912e9807bcf7#

(Maybe people are buying these books because the Judges, Courts and Leftist groups are suing, stopping and interfering with everything President Trump is doing to save America. They seemingly always deduce it's Trump scaring people or whatever that make them buy these books. You would think this is a good thing.)

“Quentin Tarantino dead 2025” : Director killed by internet death hoax

Quentin Tarantino is the latest celeb to fall victim to a death hoax

By Jessica Simpson Washington Last updated on April 23, 2025

News of director Quentin Tarantino’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However the April 2025 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports

Quentin Tarantino death hoax spreads on Facebook

Rumors of the director’s alleged demise gained traction on Monday after a ‘R.I.P. Quentin Tarantino’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million of ‘likes’. Those who read the ‘About’ page were given a believable account of the American director’s passing:

“At about 11 a.m. ET on Monday (April 21, 2025), our beloved director Quentin Tarantino passed away. Quentin Tarantino was born on March 27, 1963 in Knoxville. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”

Hundreds of fans immediately started writing their messages of condolence on the Facebook page, expressing their sadness that the talented 62-year-old director, screenwriter and producer was dead. And as usual, Twittersphere was frenzied over the death hoax.

Where as some trusting fans believed the post, others were immediately skeptical of the report, perhaps learning their lesson from the huge amount of fake death reports emerging about celebrities over recent months. Some pointed out that the news had not been carried on any major American network, indicating that it was a fake report, as the death of a director of Quentin Tarantino's stature would be major news across networks.

A recent poll conducted for the Celebrity Post shows that a large majority (88%) of respondents think those Quentin Tarantino death rumors are not funny anymore.

Quentin Tarantino Death Hoax Dismissed Since Director Is ‘Alive And Well’

On Tuesday (April 22) the director's reps officially confirmed that Quentin Tarantino is not dead. “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He's still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they said.

Some fans have expressed anger at the fake report saying it was reckless, distressing and hurtful to fans of the much loved director. Others say this shows his extreme popularity across the globe.

I still think he's dead.
