Ran across this today and anon got to thinking, is this what actually divides people? Whether a culture or individual can maintain what they have? Think about it. All the assholes who are incompetent, lazy, or parasitic wind up demanding endless handouts because they maintain nothing for themselves, and almost always band together against those who are not because of some primal insecurity that they're all the mental equivalent children when compared to those who do maintain things. Boils down to a retarded power struggle.

Maybe envy is a better word, in the 7 Deadly Sins sense? If you're the enterprising sort, you can definitely harness it to do better for yourself, but if you're a dumbfuck with room temperature IQ, then you might resort to theft at gunpoint.

Indeed.

Yeah, the moral code of many cultures seems to exalt people fucking over other people for personal gain. So it's a tell when they slam Euros for colonizing them because they can't stand that someone got over on all of them. Projection. It is stupidity now because they were exposed to a better way and didn't bother learning or adapting in many cases. Or they mal-adapted. Took the bad, not the good.
