Janna Ryan, Paul Ryan’s Wife, Lobbied For Pharmaceutical Industries

Her client roster included the Pharmaceutical Researchers and Manufacturers Alliance (PhRMA), Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Novartis

So, who is the Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America trade association? Well, they are literally “Big Pharma.”

PhRMA is a Republican-leaning lobby. The bulk of the committee donations are to GOP-linked committees. However, they also, like many GOP lobbyists, donate to left-wing causes like the Gay and Lesbian Fund.

Also, they donated to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign in 2012. But who did they support in 2016? Yup, they gave $13,000 to Hillary Clinton and nothing to Donald Trump.

WHY IS RYAN LEAVING OFFICE?

Theory: Ryan agreed to a lobbyist position after leaving office in a secret deal. While in office, he passes laws and regulations favorable to Big Pharma. Once he retires, he collects. He is leaving office because his secret deal is no secret at all and he is being forced out now before he can affect legislation for his handlers.

Still unclear why he is still in office (lame duck)…

Secret deals, bribery and "buying" members of Congress are commonplace in today's government. https://www.thenation.com/article/when-congressman-becomes-lobbyist-he-gets-1452-percent-raise-average/
