Whilst not exactly Q related, I wanted to share a story.

After 6 weeks of pain, I discovered that I had a subcutaneous infection in my foot that appeared out of nowhere.

Now, I trust big pharma as much as I trust big government so decided to treat it myself.

My first thought was to pack it with salt. This helped to dry out the surface, but after a few days it became obvious that the underlying infection was still active.

I soaked my foot in warm water and removed the new scab that had formed and squeezed out the pus.

I then packed the wound with a garlic and ginger compress and left it for 12 hours.

I would have included honey if I had had some, but honey is more expensive than gold here.

As a secondary treatment, the next day, I soaked the wound, cleaned it and packed it with a turmeric/lard paste (again, I would have used honey if i had some).

Today, I can safely say that the infection has diminished and it appears to be recuperating..

Have I cured it?

Let's see.
