>6 weeks is a lot of time
Got scoped in routine medical exam. Dirty scope, full blown sepsis next day. Rushed to hospital, Nurses betting pool first night was 7 to 1 against. Seven days in ICU on IV cocktails in PICC line straight into heart. On discharge, PICC line left in and a pump with antibiotics changed twice a day on a belt for 6 more weeks with a return to hospital weekly for testing and more antibiotics. Fun times.
