Great Pollster John McLaughlin, one of the most highly respected in the industry, has just stated that The Failing New York Times Poll, and the ABC/Washington Post Poll, about a person named DONALD J. TRUMP, ME, are FAKE POLLS FROM FAKE NEWS ORGANIZATIONS. The New York Times has only 37% Trump 2024 voters, and the ABC/Washington Post Poll has only 34% Trump Voters, unheard of numbers unless looking for a negative result, which they are. These people should be investigated for ELECTION FRAUD, and add in the FoxNews Pollster while youโ€™re at it. They are Negative Criminals who apologize to their subscribers and readers after I WIN ELECTIONS BIG, much bigger than their polls showed I would win, loose a lot of credibility, and then go on cheating and lying for the next cycle, only worse. They suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, and there is nothing that anyone, or anything, can do about it. THEY ARE SICK, almost only write negative stories about me no matter how well I am doing (99.9% at the Border, BEST NUMBER EVER!), AND ARE TRULY THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE! I wish them well, but will continue to fight to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

We donโ€™t have a Free and Fair โ€œPressโ€ in this Country anymore. We have a Press that writes BAD STORIES, and CHEATS, BIG, ON POLLS. IT IS COMPROMISED AND CORRUPT. SAD!

Treasury Secretary Bessent: Americans' Spending Doesn't Match Polls

https://www.newsmax.com/us/scott-bessent-polls-trump/2025/04/27/id/1208528/

Sunday, 27 April 2025 03:01 PM EDT

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, responding Sunday to a new Washington Post/ABC News poll showing President Donald Trump's polling numbers on the economy being underwater, said consumers' spending habits don't match up with what the surveys are saying.

"For the past 35 years, my business was analyzing data, so I think we've probably got to dig down into those," Bessent told ABC News "This Week" host Martha Raddatz.

"What I do know is that Americans are behaving very differently from what the surveys say," he added. "So the surveys may say that, but consumers are still spending. So I prefer to look at what Americans are doing rather than how they're answering pollsters."

The poll shows that only 39% of the adults in the country approve of how Trump is handling his job, with 55% who disapprove, including 44% who strongly disapprove.

Bessent, meanwhile, said that he has his doubts about the poll numbers that are coming out. "When I look at the sum of the things that are being published, there was a story 10 days ago that said this is the worst April for the stock market since the Great Depression."

But just 10 days later, the Nasdaq is up, said Bessent, but "I haven't seen a story that says, Oh, the stock market has the biggest bounce back ever."

Bessent also discussed on Sunday Trump's interview with Time magazine, including his comments that he had made 200 deals on tariffs.

"I believe that he is referring to sub-deals within the negotiations we're doing," said Bessent. "If there are 180 countries, there are 18 important trading partners. Let's put China to the side, because that's a special negotiation. There are 17 important trading partners, and we have a process in place, over the next 90 days, to negotiate with them."

Trump, in recent weeks, has announced tariffs only to pull them back, pause them, or make some exceptions, and Bessent said that in "game theory," that is called "strategic uncertainty."

"You're not going to tell the person on the other side of the negotiation where you're going to end up, and nobody's better at creating this leverage than President Trump," said Bessent. "He's shown the high tariffs, and here's the stick. This is where the tariffs can go. And the carrot is, come to us, take off your tariffs, take off your nontariff trade barriers, stop manipulating your currency, stop subsidizing labor and capital, and then we can talk."

Trump Says Columbus Day Will Now Just Be Columbus Day

https://www.newsmax.com/us/trump-columbus-indigenous-peoples-day/2025/04/27/id/1208531/

President Donald Trump made clear Sunday that he would not follow his predecessor's practice of recognizing Indigenous Peoples Day alongside Columbus Day in October, accusing Democrats of denigrating the explorer's legacy as he pressed his campaign to restore what he argues are traditional American icons.

Democrat Joe Biden was the first president to mark Indigenous Peoples Day, issuing a proclamation in 2021 that celebrated "the invaluable contributions and resilience of Indigenous peoples" and recognize "their inherent sovereignty."

The proclamation noted that America "was conceived on a promise of equality and opportunity for all people" but that promise "we have never fully lived up to. That is especially true when it comes to upholding the rights and dignity of the Indigenous people who were here long before colonization of the Americas began."

Trump on Sunday used a social media post to declare, "I'm bringing Columbus Day back from the ashes." He said on his Truth Social site that "the Democrats did everything possible to destroy Christopher Columbus, his reputation, and all of the Italians that love him so much."

The federal holiday, the second Monday in October, was still known as Columbus Day during Biden's term, but also as Indigenous Peoples Day. That's been a longtime goal of activists who wanted to shift the focus from commemorating Columbus' navigation to the Americas to his and his successors' exploitation of the indigenous people he encountered there.

The holiday Trump seeks to restore to its primacy was added to the calendar as a nod to the country's growing diversity.

Columbus' expeditions never touched the North American continent, let alone any land that is now part of the United States. But the native of Genoa became increasingly commemorated in the United States as Italian immigrants flocked to the country and politicians sought to win their support.

Indeed, it was the lynching of 11 Italian-American immigrants in New Orleans in 1891 that led to the first Columbus Day celebration in the United States, led the following year by President Benjamin Harrison. President Franklin D. Roosevelt designated Columbus Day as a national holiday in 1934.

Trump has long complained about Democrats tearing down statues of Columbus, a complaint he made again in Sunday's post. In 2017, he spoke out against a review of the 76-foot-tall statue of the explorer in New York's Columbus Circle that then-Mayor Bill de Blasio had ordered. It remains in place today, but other statues have been defaced or torn down.

In 2020, Trump's administration paid to restore a Columbus statue in Baltimore that was dumped in the harbor during protests against the police murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Trump Calls for 'Courageous Justice' to Fight Biden Policies

https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/justice-opposition-obstruction/2025/04/27/id/1208513/

President Donald Trump is calling for "courageous justice" to end former President Joe Biden's destructive policies.

Without it, Trump warns, Biden's destruction of America with his "open border madness" will be allowed to unwind 250 years of democracy.

"We need courageous justice in our country," Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Saturday. "If the courts don't allow what we have been allowed to do for 250 years, America can no longer be the same. Crooked Joe Biden will have destroyed our country with his open border madness, and allowing criminals of every type to enter with no retribution."

Trump has long said activist lawyers and Democrat-appointed judges hold anti-Trump animus and engage in "lawfare" to oppose, obstruct, and even run out the clock on his one-term administration.

Most pointedly in this Truth post, Trump said working to stop deportations with one-by-one legal proceedings will effectively shut down duly elected efforts to rid America of "murderers, drug dealers, gang members, and even the mentally insane" illegal migrants committing crimes in America.

"Murderers, drug dealers, gang members, and even the mentally insane will make their home in our country, wreaking havoc like we have never seen before," Trump's post continued. "It is not possible to have trials for millions and millions of people. We know who the criminals are, and we must get them out of the U.S.A. โ€” and fast!"
