Education Secretary Betsy DeVos’ $40 million yacht was reportedly cut loose from a marina in northern Ohio and set adrift. The yacht slammed into a dock, causing over $5,000 in damage.

 

The 163ft vessel, named ‘The Seaquest’ had been moored on Lake Erie, and was cut loose in the early hours of Sunday morning. The crew notified police and tried to get the runaway yacht under control, but not before it hit a dock, causing between $5,000 and $10,000 in damage, reported the Toledo Blade.

Former US President George Bush’s cardiologist may have been deliberately targeted when he was fatally shot while riding his bicycle in Texas last week, Houston’s police chief told the New York Post.

 

Art Acevedo told the newspaper on Tuesday it was "highly probable" Dr. Hausknecht was the victim of a targeted shooting.

Parents of the victims of the Sandy Hook school shooting have slammed Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg for failing to protect them from harassment by conspiracy theorists.

 

Shooter Adam Lanza killed 26 people at the elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut in 2012 – 20 of the victims were children under the age of seven.

 

Lenny Pozner and Veronique De La Rosa, whose 6-year-old son Noah Pozner was killed at Sandy Hook, penned an open letter to Zuckerberg accusing the company of protecting conspiracy groups claiming the massacre was a hoax.
