Here's the thing… you are totally failing to take SCALE into consideration.
Those "structures" are like, 12 feet across… and are likely just trees.
Not gonna say what you posted was not notable… it was a good try and good digging, but I just don't think there's any "there" there.

1) Earth doesn't curve 8" per mile squared… if it did, that calculation would never curve back on itself.

3) The actual calculation is 102.4 * 8 / 12 = 68.26 foot drop…
That is a full two orders of magnitude off from the fiction being peddled here.
