You need to find a real strong church. It doesn't need a lot of people; this isn't a good indicator. It needs to be spiritually strong, have a missions program, and its own school. Southern Baptist and non-denominational, sometimes orthodox, rarely lutheran or catholic, but its possible. You'll have to keep going regularly to maintain the protection.
