Which areas will be impacted? I came up with the following tiers.
Tier 1: Kashmir… The Flashpoint & First Casualty. Will be glassified within the first 10 minutes. Everyone’s had a nuke with “For Kashmir” scribbled on it since the Cold War.
Tier 2: Islamabad & Rawalpindi. Also will be vaporized. India wouldn’t miss the chance to decapitate Pakistan’s military and civilian leadership. They’re also geographically close.
Tier3: Delhi & Mumbai. Pakistan’s nukes likely aim here. Delhi for politics. Mumbai for economy. Both for maximum morale damage. This is dependent on if Pakistan can launch in retaliation.
Tier 4: Karachi, Bangalore, Hyderabad… Dependent on escalation. If the big red buttons keep getting slapped like whack-a-moles, these economic hubs are next.
