There's a guy named bix weir who has been saying similar things for years. (He got caught up in the last crypto rally and lost some credibility by saying litecoin was going to 25k before the end of the year) but his stuff before that was very much on par with theorizing that there was a Q type inside the Treasury/Fed that was trying to bring it down from within.
There were even comic books put out by the Boston Fed with parables about returning to a gold standard. Very down-the-rabbit-hole-esque. (Pic related)
