We did the API years ago in the FEC's database and have several snapshots of their entire database.But they caught on, so they began timing us out, blocking our IP addresses.

Lithuania? Poland? God forbid! But we all have to be ready. All our institutions are open to cooperation."
"Russians are worried that their parade is in question. And rightly so, they are worried." This reference was to the coming May 9 Victory Day Parade in Moscow, celebrating the end of the 'Great Patriotic War' as Russians describe it.
Moscow said this morning that a ceasefire must be negotiated with Washington, not Kyiv, and reiterated the crisis is complicated and will not be solved quickly.
Kiev wants by all means to disrupt the dialogue and escalate tensions against the background of the ceasefireannounced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the days of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Rodion Miroshnik, the Foreign Ministry's special envoy for the crimes of the Kiev regime, said, reported Russian state news agency TASS.

Zelensky pleaded with Trump in Vatican – The Economist
The Ukrainian leader reportedly said only the US president can broker peace between Moscow and Kiev
Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky tried to persuade US President Donald Trump during their brief conversation at the Vatican not to give up on his efforts to settle the conflict between Moscow and Kiev, according to The Economist.
Trump and Zelensky got together for some 15 minutes on the sidelines of Pope Francis’ funeral on Saturday.
The negotiations “produced a striking photograph of the two men sitting in St. Peter’s Basilica, locked in conversationas apparent political equals,” The Economist wrote on Tuesday.
(WTF?That’s exactly how much respect they have for the leader of the US.)
Ukrainian sources told the outlet that Zelensky used the discussions “todeliver a simple message: Ukraine is ready for an unconditional ceasefire, Russia is not, and Mr. Trump should not abandon a peace that only he can deliver.”
Russia previously called the 30-day ceasefire demanded by Kiev “unrealistic,” stressing that talks can take place without a pause in the fighting.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned over the weekend that Washington could disengage from the peace process if it does not see rapid progress from Russia and Ukraine towards an end to the fighting.
The mood in Ukraine is now “cautiously optimistic” because the officials inKiev believe that “after months of threats and blackmail,” Trump has finally started “to respect” Zelensky, the Economist wrote. (Then they are all delusional!!!)
The talks at the Vatican became the first in-person conversation between the two leaders since their meeting at the Oval Office in late February, which devolved into a shouting match in front of the cameras.
At the time, Trump and US Vice President J.D. Vance accused Zelensky of being ungrateful for the American aid and not being interested in peace. The public quarrel resulted in the Ukrainian leader’s visit to the White House being cut short.
Following the meeting at the Vatican, Trump described Zelensky as “calmer,” saying that the Ukrainian leader now “understands the picture. And I think he wants to make a deal. I do not know if he wanted to make a deal [before]. I think he wants to make a deal.”
On Tuesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reiterated Moscow’s readiness to engage in direct talks with Kiev without any preconditions.
As for the ceasefire, Russia considers it “a precondition that will be used to further support the Kiev regime and strengthen its military capabilities,” he explained.

Ukrainian saboteurs nearly blew themselves up – officials (VIDEO)
A bomb two suspects were assembling detonated in a residential building in central Russia
Two alleged Ukrainian agents were injured in an explosion earlier this month while assembling an improvised explosive device in central Russia, Russia’s Investigative Committee has announced. Both were subsequently detained, local officials have said.
A Moldovan national is also reportedly under investigation for allegedly helping to deliver bomb components used in the failed plot.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Investigative Committee said the suspects – a Ukrainian national and a Belarusian citizen – were preparing a “terrorist act” targeting a serviceman from a Russian volunteer battalion involved in the Ukraine conflict.
The improvised bomb exploded while they were assembling the device in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk on April 12. The blast destroyed two apartments and left five people hospitalized, including the suspects themselves, the authorities said.
The parts, provided by a Ukrainian intelligence agent, were allegedly disguised inside a screwdriver battery and an aromatic candle, and delivered from Ivano-Frankivsk, western Ukraine, via Poland, Lithuania, and Belarus, according to the Committee.
The Investigative Committee also released a video showing the moment of the explosion, which damaged the corner of the building, along with footage of emergency crews extinguishing the fire and investigators working at the scene.
Two men are seen being escorted by police into a law enforcement building and admitting responsibility for the blast and their involvement in the assassination plot.
Initial media reports on the incident suggested a gas explosion. However, regional officials were quick to dismiss the claim, saying that the building was not connected to a gas supply.
Since the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022, Moscow has accused Ukrainian special services of attempts to assassinate numerous Russian commanders, officials and other high-profile figures as well as sabotage operations.
On Sunday, Moscow announced that it had detained a suspected Ukrainian-linked culprit behind the killing of Lt. Gen. Yaroslav Moskalik, the deputy chief of operations of Russia’s General Staff, who died in a car explosion earlier this month.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has reassigned several agents who were photographed kneeling with demonstrators during a 2020 protest in the wake of police killing of George Floyd, people briefed on the matter told CNN.
The reassignments, viewed as demotions by many inside the FBI,come nearly five years after the episodethat ignited controversy inside the bureau.FBI officials offered no explanation for changing the roles to less coveted positions for the agents, according to sources. The FBI declined to comment to CNN, citing its policy to not discuss personnel matters. Agents affected didn’t respond to requests for comment.
The targeting of the kneelers is part of a broader effort by the new FBI leaders to make good on promises to root out what President Donald Trump has called “woke” and politicized elements inside the agency.
A former FBI official said punishing agents involved in the incident now raises concern that the bureau is bypassing its regular disciplinary process, which can take months and even more than a year to review incidents. “This notion that the bureau would go after these people, it’s just disgusting,” the former official said.
After quickly ousting senior FBI leaders, the Justice Department hassaid it is reviewing the conduct of more than 1,500 agents associated with cases that have found disfavor in the new Trump era, including investigations of the president and his allies. FBI agents who executed the search warrant on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and who worked on January 6, 2021-related cases have been bracing for possible retribution, current and former agents said.
The kneeling incident in Washington, DC, occurred after a group of agents assigned to protect federal monuments and buildings were confronted by a group of protesters. FBI agents generally aren’t trained to do crowd control and deploying them to face off demonstrators raised fears of a possible deadly confrontation, current and former bureau officials said.
Some of the agents that day, recalling another recent incident in which National Guard soldiers had handled a similar confrontation,decided to try kneeling as a way to deescalate tensions. It worked, and the protesters moved on.(that's the point, the law doesn't kneel, it shows cowardice)
But later, after photos emerged, a furious reaction erupted inside the FBI. Some of the agents pictured kneeling were ostracized and personally attacked by their peers, current and former agents said. Other agents rallied to their cause, thankful that the incident didn’t devolve into violence that could have done more harm to the bureau’s reputation.
Top FBI officials reviewed the incident and determined that given the context, there was no violation of policy, current and former officials said. The reaction inside the FBI mirrored the broader reaction to the protests around the country and have since become enmeshed in the broader political divide in the US.
And in the years since, congressional Republicans have made the incident one of a number of issues in their conflict with the bureau’s former leadership.
Protests over racism and heavy-handed policing tactics that summer had erupted across the country after Floyd’s death. The reaction was fueled by footage showing police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck for
more than nine minutes as Floyd pleaded for help, saying he couldn’t breathe.
In Washington, President Donald Trump urged Attorney General Bill Barr to regain control of the streets. Barr ordered the FBI and other agencies to deploy agents to help with crowd control and protect federal buildings. FBI leadership pushed back against Barr, but eventually relented.

The memo is the latest effort by critics of acting D.C. U.S. Attorney Ed Martin to stop his Senate confirmation for the permanent role, which is among the most powerful federal prosecutor positions in the country. The letter was signed by a group of former prosecutors who served in the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office across seven decades, under administrations from Lyndon B. Johnson’s through Joe Biden’s.
The memo, a copy of which was shared with CBS News, called for the rejection of Martin’s nomination.
“There is a time when we all are called to stand for the full and fair administration of justice and the rule of law,” the memo says. “For those of us who have served in the Office of the United States Attorney and still have a breath, that time is now. And the message we speak is, reject — outright and completely — the proposed nominee. Whether our message is futile or not, it is an expression of our conscience and a matter of principle that we deliver with all of the strength that we can muster.”

Waterville Teacher Calls on the Secret Service to Assassinate Trump, Says She’d Do It Herself if She Could

An English teacher at Waterville Senior High School took a break on Tuesday from instructing students on grammar and syntax to publicly call for the Secret Service to assassinate President Donald Trump and his supporters.
“The Secret Service has the perfect opportunity, if they choose to step up and take it. You are the ones with power. Coordinate. Take out every single person who supports Trump’s illegal, immoral, unconstitutional acts. Look at the sycophants and give them what they’re asking for. Every other country sees what’s happening and they are taking stands. If you step up, we can avoid a civil war,” said JoAnna St. Germain in the pinned post on her Facebook account.
“I’m not talking about assassinating a president. A president is a person duly elected by the American people. Tr*mp has shamelessly bragged openly about stealing the election. He is making plans to give himself a third term. I’m talking about Americans recognizing a fascist dictatorship and standing against it,” she added.
St. Germain regretfully explained that she would happily murder President Trump and “every single person” who supports him herself, but that she lacks the necessary skills, and she called on the Secret Service and the military to carry out the murders instead.
“Secret Service, you are Americans. My beloved military, you are Americans. We, the people, are counting on you. If I had the skill set required, I would take them out myself. I’m making this post public for a reason, I promise you. Don’t waste time wondering if I’m okay. I’m not. If you’re okay, you’re lying to yourself,” said St. Germain.
St. Germain’s call for the murder of every Trump supporter puts Trump-supporting parents in the uncomfortable position of sending their children to be taught by a womanwho, quite literally, wants them dead and has even expressed a desire to commit murder herself if she had the “skill set required.”
The Maine Wire reached out to Principal Brian Larameeof the Waterville Senior High School, asking whether any disciplinary action will be taken against St. Germain for her violent rhetoric, but they did not immediately respond.
After The Maine Wire called attention to St. Germain’s rant on social media, and reached out to her principal, she posted a series of additional posts clarifying her comments.
“My friends. I am so sorry you took that post to mean that all Republicans should die. I have no beef with Republicans. I have no beef with MAGA. I meant that those in the room with Trump, who are permitting and approving his egregious actions, need to be held accountable,” she said.
“I’ve been teaching history for so long, and it’s very difficult to watch things repeat in rhymes. I love each and every one of you, and I understand why you’re angry with me. I love your children. I love the disabled. I love the LGBTQ+ community. I love black and brown people. I love autistic people. My love holds no quarter for people in power actively harming those I love,” she added.
St. Germain claimed that she did not wish death on MAGA Republicans broadly and specified that she did not mean that “every single person who supports” Trump’s policies should die, despite saying that in her original post, which she has not taken down.
After the seemingly apologetic statement, she added that she did not intend to backtrack on any of what she said. She then added to her screed, referring to people as “illiterate bums” and reiterating her desire for the president’s death.
“You illiterate bums, oh my gosh. I posted knowing I’d likely lose my job and benefits. I have zero shame about what I’ve said. I’m not backtracking a single thing. I believe Trump and every sycophant he has surrounded himself with (this is not you – if you’re reading this, this doesn’t apply to you. You are beneath his notice and mine) needs to die,” said St. Germain.
Under former President Joe Biden, a Waterville man was investigated and eventually arrested after making similar online statements, where he expressed a desire to kill President Biden and expressed hope that Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) would be shot.
It remains to be seen whether law enforcement will be as thorough in investigating St. Germain’s comments about Trump and his supporters.
