In the Garden of Eden God told Adam he could swim in the lakes and ponds but cautioned that Eve could never swim in them. During a hot spell of weather Eve was complaining about the heat and asked why only Adam could swim in the cool water. Agonizing over it and getting no response, Eve decided to take the plunge. This brought about a giant bolt of lightening and deafening thunder and an apparition of God. With a booming voice he asked Eve why she had disobeyed. Eve said that she could no longer stand the heat and jumped into the water to get some relief. Exasperated, God then said: Eve, do you have any idea how long it's going to take to me to get that smell off those fish?
