A high school English teacher in Waterville, Maine identified as JoAnna St. Germain is being investigated by federal authorities officials after posting a series of extreme and disturbing messages on social media calling for violence against supporters of former President Donald Trump. In a now viral Facebook rant, St. Germain urged the U.S. Secret Service to “take out every single person who supports Trump’s illegal, immoral, unconstitutional acts,” claiming they “have the power” and should “coordinate” such actions. “If I had the skill set required, I would take them out myself,” she wrote, before insisting she wasn’t calling for the assassination of a president, stating: “A president is a person duly elected by the American people. Trump is leading a fascist dictatorship.” She went on to say, “When I say that Trump and all the sycophants he’s surrounded himself with need to die, I mean that sh*t. I’ll die on that hill, happily.” Less than 24 hours later, St. Germain doubled down on her comments, declaring, “I have zero shame about what I’ve said. I’m not backtracking a single thing. I believe Trump and every sycophant around him needs to die.”

Argentina declassifies over 1,800 files on Nazi ‘ratline’ escape routes after WWII

JTA — The Argentine government announced the release of nearly 1,850 classified documents that show how Nazi fugitives escaped to the country after World War II.

 

The trove of documents were declassified and made available to the public Monday at the urging of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a Jewish advocacy group named for the famed late Nazi hunter. The group praised the decision on Tuesday.

 

The collection will shed light on the financing of escape routes for Nazis, thousands of whom escaped to South America via so-called “ratlines” after the war.

 

Last month, Argentine President Javier Milei ordered the declassification of the documents after a meeting with leaders from the Simon Wiesenthal Center. US Senator Chuck Grassley, an Iowa Republican, also requested the records in a letter delivered by representatives of the Simon Wiesenthal Center.

 

Argentina’s Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers Guillermo Francos said Milei gave the order “because there is no reason to continue withholding that information,” according to Argentinian outlet Perfil.

 

The documents are now publicly available through Argentina’s National Archive, the Argentinian government announced in a post on X. The released documents include banking and financial transactions that show how Nazis were able to resettle in Argentina as well as records held by Argentina’s Defense Ministry.

 

Notorious officials mentioned in Argentina’s extensive documentation include Adolf Eichmann, the architect of the Holocaust who was captured by the Mossad in 1960 and later tried and executed in Israel, and Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor dubbed the “angel of death.”

 

The public received a glimpse of Argentina’s collection of tens of thousands of documents relating to its support for Nazis fleeing prosecution in a documentary in 2018. The government’s collection had been fully concealed until 1992, when Argentina’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs declassified 139,544 documents. The collection could only be seen in person prior to its online publication by AGN.

MS-13 gangbanger illegal aliens accused of stabbing 3 corrections officers in violent Virginia prison attack

 

Three Virginia corrections officers were hospitalized Friday after an alleged coordinated attack by inmates affiliated with the violent MS-13 gang and another known gang, state Department of Corrections officials said in a statement.

 

The incident took place at approximately 9:45 a.m. at Wallens Ridge State Prison in Wise County. Officials said six inmates were involved in the assault.

 

Five of them are confirmed members of the MS-13 gang, originally from El Salvador, who were in the U.S. illegally.

 

All five had been convicted of violent crimes, including aggravated murder, first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and rape. The sixth inmate is a U.S. citizen and a confirmed member of the Sureño 13 gang, serving a sentence for second-degree murder.

 

"Five of the individuals responsible for this senseless attack should never have been in this country in the first place," said Virginia Department of Corrections Director Chad Dotson.

 

"Every single day, our officers put their lives on the line to ensure public safety for the more than 8.8 million people across the Commonwealth. This attack is an example of the dangers they face when they show up to work every day. Our officers are heroes, and I commend the team at Wallens Ridge for their swift response."

 

Five officers required medical treatment. Three have been discharged, including two who sustained minor injuries while responding to the scene. Two others remain hospitalized in stable condition.

 

The incident is under investigation and no additional information has been released.

 

MS-13, short for Mara Salvatrucha, is a transnational criminal gang that originated in Los Angeles in the 1980s. Known for its extreme violence, the group has expanded into Central America and various regions in the U.S.

 

Law enforcement agencies have linked MS-13 to numerous violent crimes including murder, human trafficking, extortion, and drug distribution.

 

The Trump administration has increased enforcement actions targeting violent MS-13 or Tren de Aragua gang members who have entered the country illegally.

 

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has reported hundreds of arrests and deportations of gang-affiliated individuals each year. Federal and state officials have also noted concerns about MS-13 activity within the prison system and its broader implications for public safety.

 

The Virginia Department of Corrections said more information will be shared once the investigation is complete.
