‘News from Like the 4th Century’: N.Y. Times Finally Discovers the Christian Cross, Gets Trolled Without Mercy

by Guest Contributor May. 3, 2025

‘It took media elites 2,000 years to ask.’

The New York Times, under the headline, “A Hot Accessory, at the Intersection of Faith and Culture,” has unleashed its 1,400-word investigatory piece about the … Christian cross.

It seems that members of the faith wear them, on necklaces and such.

And the Times’ discovery has prompted merciless trolling online.

“It took 2000 years for the media elites to ask what those funny T-shaped necklaces are that everybody’s wearing,” was one snark, from Not the Bee.

“This is real. People wear crosses and the NYT is ON IT,” announced Mary Katharine Hamm.

Not the Bee explained, “Across TikTok, young Christian women have been sharing the meaning behind their own cross necklaces, saying they help cultivate a sense of belonging and connection with others. Sage Mills, a student at the University of Oklahoma who has posted videos about her cross necklace, said that seeing women in government like Ms. Leavitt and Ms. Bondi wear their own ‘makes me feel good. It makes me feel like God is the important thing for people that are governing our world.'”

It continued, “The Times has the history lesson for anyone confused by this strange symbol. The cross, a symbol most associated with the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, first emerged during the Roman Empire when it was an instrument of mass torture, said Robert Covolo, a theologian and associate pastor at Christ Church Sierra Madre near Los Angeles. By the 4th century, Mr. Covolo said that Christians had begun to use the cross as an emblem of their religion. Not long after, the cross became a focal point for daily jewelry. Cross jewelry dating as far back as the 5th century is prevalent in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.”

The report said, “Think about it: A 1,500 word article … in what used to be the most prominent newspaper in the world … explaining the cross to an American audience.”

BORDER NIGHTMARE: Man Charged with Raping Corpse on NYC Subway Is an Illegal Immigrant Who Crossed the Border at Least Five Times

by Jim Hᴏft May. 2, 2025

Felix Rojas, a 44-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico, has been charged with the depraved act of raping a corpse on a Manhattan subway train.

The New York Post has exclusively learned that Rojas, who allegedly defiled the body of 37-year-old family man Jorge Gonzalez, crossed the US-Mexico border at least five times before his arrest, evading authorities until this sickening crime.

Rojas, also known as Felix Jeronimo-Rojas, unlawfully entered the United States multiple times in the late 1990s, according to an ICE spokesperson. Border Patrol agents encountered him three times in 1998 and once in 1999, each time allowing him to voluntarily return to Mexico.

However, Rojas managed to slip back into the country undetected at least one more time, remaining under the radar until his arrest by NYPD officers on Sunday night for the shocking April 8 incident.

Surveillance footage showed Rojas first rifle through Gonzalez’s pockets to allegedly rob him, then return to sexually assault the man’s corpse, prosecutors said.

The alleged necrophiliac repeatedly zipped up his pants and pulled Gonzalez’s trousers up as the train stopped to avoid being caught in the perverted act, according to prosecutors.

The debased rape unfolded over the course of more than 30 minutes, prosecutors said.

Gonzalez’s death is believed to be from natural causes, sources have said.

Rojas, who faces multiple charges of rape and grand larceny, was ordered held without bail.

He had submitted a “passport from another country” when he turned himself in to the NYPD, prosecutors said, but officials didn’t publicly reveal his immigration status until now.

Watch: Humanoid Robot Goes Full Skynet After "Imperfect Coding"

by Tyler Durden Friday, May 02, 2025

A Unitree Robotics H1 humanoid robot, developed and produced in Hangzhou, China, was seen exhibiting "erratic behavior" in a video circulating on X.

Footage circulating on X, shared by one user, alleged the incident was caused by "imperfect coding."

"If you buy Chinese stuff, it might all end up like this… They might even deliberately make it this way to harm people…," the X user said.

Unitree's H1 robot is listed for $90,000 on its website. A note underneath the price reads: "Not include customs duties. Please comply with local customs laws, pay customs duties, and clear the goods."

While the authenticity of the footage remains unverified—and it could potentially be staged to create negative press around Unitree—it highlights the potential risks of deploying humanoid robots at scale.

The part the neighbors were painting the leaves in his yard with cyanide and his step son's dog got hit with a DEW was at least creative

Too bad he repeated it too often but I guess the approval process for those scripts takes time
