Yes I thought this too. I remeberreading an analysis of the Nazi regime which described its solcial and economic policies and communist (as opposed to socialist). Mussolini's policies were apparently closer to pure Facism. Though there are different forms of socialism, socialists might nationalize an industry, but generally not personal property directly. Though the more pervasive and communist-leaning may create conditions where personal propertly is lost or people forced into positions where they give it up.
Oer the past few centuries the Deep State generally only ever allow communist leaning ideologies to flourish for proonged periods of time. They would never promote anything that wasn't communist in leaning simply because they don't really want any of the masses to have much if any personal property in the end. It allows for too much independance and lack of ability for them to effectively control people. And also, less for them to own and use for their own ends.
