Well Italian Patriot, Italy and the rest of the member countries are the ones who voted to form the EU. So now we are forced to deal with the EU on trade deals. If you want direct deals with the USA you have to leave the EU like the UK (hopefully) has done.But Italy HAS taken the first step in doing that by electing a nationalist president.
