the prayers are part of the meditation. the meditation has aspects of it, various topics.

the prayers are divided up into 'decades'

using the beads allows people to focus on the meditation and not have to pay attention to a count, it allows a certain time for a specific topic and then it allows them to complete the meditation without making the mistake of not remembering what topic they are on, if they go off into a different direction with it.

at some point when people no longer can focus on the meditation that is called 'aridity' at which point someone can put aside the time-keeper beads and try to enter into contemplative prayer.

what you did was judging by using the word 'obsession' you put a value on their activity.

whatever brings someone into prayer is what works for them. If it doesn't work for you don't do it. but putting them down for doing it that way IS you judging them.

No, what I did was not 'projection'.

people new to prayer are usually not able to just enter into contemplation.

I explained it to you.

What I did was a gift to you so you can either read what I wrote and try to understand what you don't know and open your mind and stop using your free mason talking points, or you can do as you do.

it's up to you.

I say 'free mason talking points' because usually I hear such things from that crowd: they hate anything Catholic and have talking points that they are trained to use by their handlers and masters.
