I would like to propose that Trumps National Garden of American Heroes be built in Kern County, California at the Bakersfield Veterans cemetery. The location of the cemetery is at the intersection of a major and minor highway, (the 58 and 223). From these 2 roads travelers will be able to clearly see the new monument from the road, drawing them in.
I have included a few photos from Google Maps to set the mood.
The centerpiece of the garden would be a larger than life replica of the Mt Suribachi photo/statue. Included in the photos is a small hill on which the main monument could be built. There is plenty of land in the area already included in the cemetery property. Kern county is the conservative heart of California. KC is sunny 300+ days a year.
