🔥Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents raided a Washington, DC, restaurant owned by CBS News star Norah O’Donnell’s husband as part of a crackdown on illegal migrants.

Chef Geoff’s, a small chain owned by O’Donnell’s spouse, Geoff Tracy, was among the handful of eateries targeted by the feds on Tuesday, FOX5 reported.

Nearly a dozen ICE and law enforcement agents went to one of the locations at about 10:30 a.m. and spent roughly 90 minutes asking to see workers’ I-9 forms — the employment verification record used to ensure employees are legally allowed to work in the US.

No one was taken into custody at the location.

Meanwhile, about nine immigration officials raided another well-known establishment, Millie’s, just as it was opening for lunch. At least seven other DC eateries were also targeted throughout the day — including Officina and Mi Vida, Jaleo, Santa Rosa Taqueria, Pupatella Call Your Mother and Clyde’s.

From Kari Lake

🚨ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

"United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) is excited to announce a partnership with One America News Network (OAN) to provide newsfeed services to USAGM networks, including Office of Cuba Broadcasting (OCB), Radio Martí, and Voice of America (VOA).

This idea came about after OCB suggested we explore OAN as a newsfeed option for the Miami-based, U.S. Government-funded news operation broadcasting to Cuba.

At their suggestion, I reached out to OAN, and they offered to provide their newsfeed and video service free-of-charge.

This is an enormous benefit to the American taxpayer, who is the sole-source of funding for USAGM's news outlets, which broadcast only to international audiences.

In my current role as Senior Advisor to USAGM, I don't have editorial control over the content of VOA and OCB programming, but I can ensure our outlets have reliable and credible options as they work to craft their reporting and news programs.

And every day I look for ways to save American taxpayers money. Bringing in OAN as a video/news source does both.

OAN is one of the few family-owned American media networks left in the United States. We are grateful for their generosity."

Three of President Trump's top political lieutenants are abandoning the campaign of Arizona gubernatorial candidate Karrin Taylor Robson amid a flap that led Trump to simultaneously endorse a second Republican in the 2026 primary.

The exodus from Robson's campaign came after Trump's advisers spent months urging her to air TV ads promoting his endorsement — which she'd promised to do, according to three people familiar with the situation.

Trump endorsed Robson in December, leading her to get help from the president's political apparatus. But on April 22, Trump announced that he was simultaneously endorsing GOP Rep. Andy Biggs, a sign that the president was hedging his bet on the Arizona race.

This week, former Trump co-campaign manager Chris LaCivita and chief Trump campaign strategist Tony Fabrizio, who was the president's chief campaign strategist, quit their jobs advising Robson, according to the three sources who spoke with Axios.

New federal statistics show a steep decrease in the number of times the FBI searched a vast foreign intelligence repository for information about Americans and others in the United States last year.

The number of “U.S. person queries” plunged from 57,094 in 2023 to 5,518 in 2024, according to the report published Monday by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

The report details the use of a surveillance program, known as Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, that allows the U.S. government to collect without a warrant the communications of targeted foreigners located in other countries — including when they are in contact with Americans or other people inside the U.S.

National security officials have said the program is vital to protecting the country, but civil liberties advocates have condemned it as a violation of Americans’ privacy.

The report concludes that the decrease is due in large part to the adoption of tighter rules governing the program, including a requirement that the FBI enter a justification for a database query about an American before conducting it.

Attorney General Ken Paxton announced the indictments and arrests of six people, including several public officials, for election crimes related to a vote harvesting scheme in Frio County.

“The people of Texas deserve fair and honest elections, not backroom deals and political insiders rigging the system. Elected officials who think they can cheat to stay in power will be held accountable. No one is above the law,” said Attorney General Paxton. “My office will continue to work with Frio County District Attorney Audrey Louis to protect the integrity of our elections.”

A federal judge on Tuesday blocked President Trump’s dismantling of three federal agencies that support libraries, museums, minority businesses and mediation services.

U.S. District Judge John McConnell agreed with 21 Democratic-led states that the shutdowns violate the separation of powers.

The lawsuit stems from Trump’s March 14 executive order that sought to eliminate seven federal agencies, part of his sweeping efforts to slash wide swaths of the federal bureaucracy. The order has quickly led to mass layoffs, grant freezes and other sweeping reductions at the agencies.

The Democratic-led states sued over the dismantling of three of those agencies: the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS).

In response to a separate lawsuit, another federal judge last week paused plans for layoffs at the IMLS, but McConnell’s order is the first to also block the dismantling of the other two agencies.
