The difference between Peter (rock or stone) and Jesus (Corner Stone/Living Rock): ฯแฝณฯฯฮฑ, the massive living rock, and ฯแฝณฯฯฮฟฯ, a detached but large fragment, as important for the correct understanding of this passage;
We see in translations back to original language, there is a distinct difference between Peter and the word rock as used in the same verse:
Mat 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Jesus is the Living Massive Rock, Peter is a fragment, as per original language use in the verse.
The differing words are Petros (Peter)
