In a new interview with Benny Johnson, House Oversight Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) revealed what may be the most damning development yet in the fight to uncover the truth behind Jeffrey Epstein’s sinister global sex-trafficking and blackmail network: the Epstein files may have already been destroyed—and the federal government might be complicit.
Comer, who has spearheaded numerous high-profile investigations into Biden family corruption and the weaponization of federal agencies, made it clear: he believes the Department of Justice no longer has the files—if it ever did.
Comer believes the files are already destroyed to cover up the deep state.
“I don’t think the Department of Justice has [the Epstein files]—or at least the Attorney General does not have them—or she would have turned them over. The President ordered them released.
The Attorney General ordered them released. We all know they have not been released. One of my biggest fears, which I expressed with Kash Patel and a lot of people, including Stephen Miller, going into the new administration, was this: I hope they’re not shredding documents right now. This was a few weeks before the transition.
I said, “I hope they’re not shredding documents.” But you all need to go on that first day and try to get all this stuff released, because my fear—based on what I’ve dealt with in investigations and in communication with this deep state apparatus—is that they’re probably in there shredding documents as we speak. So, hopefully someone has a copy of that.
The Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, led by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), has been relentless in its pursuit of transparency, but Comer revealed that Luna is “pretty frustrated” by the stonewalling.
And I hope we find out, because our task force, led by Anna Paulina Luna—you’ve had her on your show many times—has done everything. I mean, she’s relentless, she’s persistent, and she’s pretty frustrated right now that these files haven’t been released, even though the President and the Attorney General have ordered them released.
But it’s like I told Anna, the same thing I told Patel and everybody else: you assume that somebody in the deep state said, “Okay, we’ll just put these in a file back here—this incriminating evidence on everybody—and maybe the next administration can do whatever they want to do with it.” That’s unfortunately the way it’s supposed to work, but it hasn’t worked with this deep state.
Comer’s gravest concern is the potential involvement of the federal government in Epstein’s operations.
The congressman suggested the Deep State’s actions may not be driven by loyalty to figures like the Clintons, but rather by a desire to protect their own power and avoid disruption.

So they’re just going to let the incriminating evidence sit there smoldering, that can put them all in prison.

They should. That’s what they’re supposed to do. But you and I have dealt with them, Benny. You’ve covered the deep state as well as anyone. They cover their tracks, and it’s just hard for me to believe they’re going to leave incriminating evidence. If the government was involved—if the government wasn’t involved, I don’t think they would have any reason to protect Bill Clinton or Hillary Clinton.
They’re never going to be elected to anything again. I don’t think they would have any reason to protect Bill Gates or anybody else. The concern I’ve always had about the Epstein file is: was the government involved? Did the government know? Was the government using Epstein and the videos to blackmail the most influential people around the world?
If that’s the case, then they knew there were victims of sex crimes there—and they did nothing. That’s the concern I have. If the government covers this up, I don’t believe it’s because of any love affair or affection for the Clinton family, just like I never believed they were hiding and covering for the Bidens because they loved Joe Biden. It was because they hated Donald Trump.
They didn’t want their agencies to be disrupted.The same thing with the Epstein files. I don’t know this, but my concern is that the government may have known a lot more and may have been an active participant—maybe with the intentions of intelligence gathering.
Who knows? But at the end of the day, I don’t think the American people would be okay if the government knew that crimes against young women were occurring, and yet they did nothing to intervene.

President Donald Trump is following through on his promise to extend a hand to one of the world’s most persecuted yet ignored minority groups — white South African Afrikaners.
According to an internal memo reviewed by The Lever, the Trump administration is reportedly preparing to welcome the first wave of white South African refugees to American soil within days.
On February 7, 2025, President Trump signed an executive order halting all U.S. aid to South Africa, citing “government-sponsored race-based discrimination,” including racially discriminatory property confiscation.
It can be recalled that South Africa’s EFF leader Julius Malena was again calling for genocide against white South Africans at a rally last year.
Julius Malena told supporters, “We must be able to explain to our people what black consciousness is and why it cannot coexist with the idea that white people are inherently superior, and one of the two must die.”
Trump’s executive order mandates that the U.S. promote the resettlement of Afrikaner refugees escaping such discrimination.
It directs the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Homeland Security to prioritize humanitarian relief, including admission and resettlement through the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program, for Afrikaners in South Africa who are victims of unjust racial discrimination.
Following the executive order, the U.S. Embassy in South Africa reported receiving a list of over 67,000 individuals expressing interest in refugee status under this program.
U.S. officials have begun interviewing applicants, with more than 30 approvals reportedly granted as of late April 2025, according to Reuters.
According to The Lever, the memo, signed by HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy and ORR Assistant Secretary Andrew Gradison, outlines a coordinated effort to expedite the resettlement of this vulnerable population using funds from the federal “Preferred Communities” program—traditionally reserved for those at highest risk, including the elderly and sick.
The outlet also reported that the first group of Afrikaners is expected to arrive in the U.S. within the coming days.

Lesbian judge blocks school board from removing sexually explicit books, saying it’s unconstitutional to follow ‘conservative values’
A school board in Colorado cannot remove sexually explicit, profane, and “transgender” books from school libraries because the school board is conservative, according to a federal judge touted as the first openly lesbian judge west of the Mississippi.
The ACLU’s Colorado chapter filed a suit on behalf of two minors, the NAACP Wyoming State Area Conference, and the Authors Guild, claiming that the school district engaged in viewpoint discrimination when removing the books. The judge granted a preliminary injunction in March, forcing the Elizabeth School District (in Elizabeth, a suburb southeast of Denver) to restore the books.
Judge Charlotte Sweeney second-guessed the school district’s objections to the books’ contents, calling the objections “pretexual” and condemning the removals as partisan because school board members had discussed following their conservative convictions when debating the removal of the books.

“Other than pretextual declarations, at this stage, there simply is no reason to believe that the books were removed because of vulgarity, age-inappropriateness, or for legitimate pedagogical [teaching] concerns; the board’s own emails strongly suggest that the book removal was motivated by the directors’ ‘commitment to conservative values,’” Sweeney wrote. “The court questions what could be more partisan or political than removing books to further the board’s self-described conservative values.”
Julian Ellis, the school district’s attorney, told The Daily Signal that the district had asked Sweeney to hold an evidentiary hearing so she could review the books herself, yet the judge refused. The board had included segments from the books in its filings, aiming to demonstrate the vulgar and inappropriate material, but the judge dismissed those.
Instead, the judge ruled that “the district’s decisive factor in voting to permanently banish the removed books was because the district disagreed with the views expressed in the books and to further their preferred political orthodoxy.”
“The court viewed any decision motivated by ‘conservative values’ as unacceptable and partisan,” Ellis explained. “The problem with the district court’s analysis is those ‘conservative values’ could be assigned to any book removal decision—a book that’s never been checked out, a book with ice cream stains on the cover, or a book that denies the Holocaust” (emphasis original).
“This also begs a question: How could a ‘conservative’ school board ever remove problematic content without the board members’ conservatism disqualifying the decision?” Ellis asked. He condemned the ruling as “unequal treatment because of one’s conservative values.”
Dan Snowberger, the board’s chairman, told The Daily Signal that Sweeney abused her authority.
“The fact that she is failing to acknowledge that the plaintiffs have mischaracterized the content of the books in question—despite our filings, including segments of the books, and refuses to even hold a hearing to allow the parties to present facts—is rather interesting and doesn’t seem impartial,” he said.
Left-leaning activist groups cheered Sweeney’s confirmation to the federal bench in 2022, celebrating her as “the first LGBT woman to serve as a federal district judge west of the Mississippi.”

Bondi's comments come after a very lame 'Epstein Files' release in February, in which the DOJ handed out "phase 1" binders to a group of influencers that did not contain any new information.
Epstein, the disgraced pedophile financier who was found dead in a New York prison cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges, is known to have had extensive recording devices throughout his various properties.

During the same presser, FBI Director Kash Patel announced that over 200 alleged child sex predators were arrested as part of Operation Restore Justice.

Move over Karmelo Anthony, there’s a new accused killer darling on the scene. Rodney Hinton, Jr. ran down a retired deputy, and the left loves him.
Rodney Hinton, Jr., a black man from Ohio, reportedly ran down a retired white police officer who was directing traffic for a college graduation—and Hinton has garnered generous support, both from the black community and the left. The officer allegedly murdered by Hinton was a man named Larry Henderson, a public servant who dedicated more than three decades of his life to his community, serving across a number of different law enforcement agencies.
Prosecutors allege a “calculated and premeditated” motive: just prior to Hinton running Henderson down, Hinton had watched bodycam footage from an officer-involved shooting in which Hinton’s own son, 18-year-old Ryan, was killed. Ryan had been caught up in a foot-pursuit police chase after officers were investigating reports of a stolen vehicle (the one in which Ryan, and three others, were sitting) and when the group was approached by law enforcement, Ryan ran and hid. When officers closed in, Ryan jumped out, brandishing a gun, and was, understandably, shot.
Of course it’s horribly tragic—no one wishes this is how this young man’s life ended—but as Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge said of the incident, “We do not expect the officers to wait until they’re fired upon” before neutralizing threats, and rightfully so. At least, until progressives can have their way, and completely hamstring our law enforcement like they’ve done with our military. (Let’s not forget Barack Obama’s ridiculous, and frankly criminal, changes to the rules of engagement which were masterfully manipulated by the enemy; this is the end goal for our cops too.)
The black community is disproportionately dysfunctional, but I can say without hesitation I desperately want them to get it together, for everyone’s sake. And of course, Hinton is a major part of the problem. If your son is a gang-banging thug at 18, that certainly speaks to how poorly you parented as a father.

The Verge reports that in testimony during the remedy phase of the search antitrust trial against the internet giant, Elizabeth Reid, Google’s head of search, expressed concerns over the DOJ’s proposed changes to the company’s search practices. The DOJ has suggested that Google should share its search data and ranking signals with competitors to level the playing field and end the company’s search monopoly. However, Reid argued that these changes could have severe consequences for user privacy and trust, as well as hinder innovation in the search industry.
One of the primary concerns raised by Reid is the potential risk to user privacy. She stated that exporting search data to competitors, who may have less secure systems, could put users’ sensitive information at risk. “Once it’s turned over to a qualified competitor, there’s no further protections we can give,” Reid explained, adding that smaller startups, which would now possess a “huge treasure trove of data,” could become attractive targets for hackers.
Furthermore, Reid emphasized that the proposed changes could erode user trust in Google’s products and search services as a whole. Many users turn to Google to ask sensitive questions they may not feel comfortable sharing with others. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) on Wednesday proposed legislation to eliminate the intelligence community’s surveillance tools that “erode” Americans’ civil liberties.
“For over two decades, rogue actors within our U.S. intelligence agencies have used the PATRIOT Act to create the most sophisticated, unaccountable surveillance apparatus in the Western world,” Luna said in a written statement to Breitbart News.
Luna introduced the American Privacy Restoration Act, a bill that would repeal the USA PATRIOT Act, a sweeping September 11th, 2001 terrorist bill that drastically expanded government surveillance.
Elizabeth Goitein, Senior Director for the Liberty & National Security program at the Brennan Center for Justice, described how the post-9/11 law dramatically increased warrantless surveillance of Americans’ communications:
In a variety of contexts, it became lawful for the government to collect an American’s sensitive information based merely on a claim that the information was “relevant” to a legitimate purpose, regardless of whether the person was reasonably suspected of wrongdoing. Even for the most sensitive of information, communications content, Congress gave the NSA free rein to collect phone calls, texts, and emails between foreign targets and Americans — communications that previously could not be obtained domestically without a court order based on probable cause.
Ironically, according to Goitein, the increased mass surveillance has not yielded safety benefits:
Also unsurprisingly, there is zero evidence that suspicionless surveillance has made us safer. Consider the NSA’s program of “bulk collection” — the poster child for suspicionless surveillance — in which the agency obtained Americans’ phone records en masse. Two independent reviews found that this program yielded little-to-no counterterrorism benefit. Indeed, there is evidence that overcollection is counterproductive. Multiple government reviews of domestic terrorist incidents have found that agents missed signs of trouble because those signs were lost in the noise of irrelevant data. [Emphasis added]
“Achieving this goal will require restoring limitations that were stripped out of the law after 9/11, as well as enacting new ones to ensure that Americans’ sensitive information is protected from disclosure regardless of who holds the information or the technology used to capture it,” Goitein wrote about the need to restore pre-9/11 protections for civil liberties.
Luna introduced her legislation as the House Judiciary Committee held a hearing in April on warrantless government surveillance.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) said, “We need to make sure we win this time. During 2024 debate to reauthorize Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), privacy-oriented lawmakers nearly passed an amendment to legislation that would have required a warrant for searches of Americans’ communications.”
As Congress inches towards reauthorizing surveillance laws next year, Luna looks to rein in governments’ ability to conduct warrantless searches that trample Americans’ constitutional protections.
“My legislation will strip the deep state of these tools and protect every American’s fourth amendment right against unreasonable searches and seizures. It’s past time to reign in our intelligence agencies and restore the right to privacy. Anyone trying to convince you otherwise is using ‘security’ as an excuse to erode your freedom,” Luna concluded in her statement.

Illegal Cockfighting Operation in Southern Mississippi Busted by ICE
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, jointly with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and other law enforcement partners, executed search warrants in Southern Mississippi that resulted in multiple arrests involving illegal immigration, cockfighting, and other criminal activity. The search warrants were part of an ongoing undercover investigation into the unlawful cockfighting in Harrison County, Mississippi.
The arrests included United States citizens and suspected illegal aliens found at the site of the makeshift animal fights attended by some people from outside Mississippi. Two defendants, Alvin Smith III and Herbert Kasey Smith, were charged with violating the Animal Welfare Act for hosting the cockfights bi-weekly on their property at 16478 Northup Cuevas Road, according to court documents.

’90s WWE wrestler arrested for trying to buy child pornography: District Attorney General
Michael Droese, better known to wrestling fans as Duke “The Dumpster” Droese, was indicted by a Warren County Grand Jury in May, according to a release from District Attorney General Chris Stanford, 31st Judicial District.
It was alleged that Droese used a Coinbase account in an attempt to purchase child pornography on the dark web, the release reads. Coinbase, however, recognized what the transaction was and declined the payment. The company then sent a tip to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
According to Stanford, the FBI alerted the Warren County Sheriff’s Department of Droese and the tip they were given March 29. Within days, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation began investigating, which quickly led to Stanford charging Droese.

Stanford continued by explaining the charges as attempted, since Droese’s transaction was never processed.
At the time, Droese was employed as the DUI Coordinator for the 31st Judicial District Adult Recovery Court Program, the release states. Droese served the program for several years in various capacities. Upon learning of the indictment, Droese was terminated from his position effective immediately. Stanford noted that Dorese, though working through the public court system, was never given duties that mandated any contact with children.

After the indictment, Droese peacefully surrendered himself to law enforcement, according to Stanford. Droese was booked on his charges and released after posting a $10,000 bond.
Droese’s next court date is set for May 28.
He wrestled as Duke “The Dumpster” Droese in WWE (then WWF) from 1994 to 1996. He would then return in 2001 for one night only in a special attraction battle royale at WrestleMania 17.
