Not if Wall Street has it's way:

"And who are these "shareholders" who are benefiting so mightily from corporate profiteering? I know you're shocked, shocked, that the top 1% own half of all the shares, and the top 10% own around 90%."

Yes, business in America will grow. So will the importation of cheap labor to keep the profits to the few. This administration better get a handle on that practice- which includes making American tech great again. Strange silence about that sector of America's working class.

You can't have independence on anything these days if the tech is outsourced or in-sourced from other countries for cheaper labor. The killing of the American tech worker goes back to a phony NSF study.

We may own manufacturing but countries, primarily India, will own the tech. That's not independence and it sure as heck isn't in the best interests of national security.

America has the tech workers. This administration just needs to stop the H1-B favoritism, DEI hiring and managing practices, and create programs to get laid off tech workers back in the flow.
