End the Corruption & We Balance the Budget

WINNING! Trump Has Cut National Debt Growth by 92 Percent

Trump has been in office for only a few months and has already managed to cut national debt growth by 92 percent. This is definitely one of the things that would cause people to say, ‘I voted for this.’

While the left rants and raves over cuts to various government programs, Trump is securing the nation’s financial future by getting spending under control.

And remember, while Trump and Republicans are taking care of this serious business, Democrats are obsessing over and defending illegal immigrant criminals.

The contrast could not be sharper.

The Washington Examiner reports:

Trump has slowed national debt growth by 92%

For all the negative headlines hating on President Donald Trump‘s Department of Government Efficiency, daily data from the Treasury Department have vindicated the president’s crusade against our obese federal budget. Even without the trillions of dollars expected to come with Trump’s “one big, beautiful bill,” the White House has slowed the growth of federal debt held by the public so dramatically that the total national debt has actually shrunk since Inauguration Day.

Admittedly, the $5.5 billion decline in a $26.2 trillion national debt is a drop in the bucket, but focusing specifically on the trajectory of the debt held by the public — that is, the majority of the national debt that is financed through the likes of Treasurys, rather than intragovernmental holdings, which is merely money one agency may owe another — we can see that the second Trump administration has indeed taken a machete to federal spending. From Inauguration Day to May 5, debt held by the public rose by $37,238,323,646.66. Because this accounts for an influx of revenue around April Tax Day, the comparable window to compare Trump’s performance to that of his predecessor is not Trump’s first 104 days with the last 104 days of Joe Biden (when debt held by the public rose by $521,984,501,224.88), but to the same window in 2024.

From Jan. 22, 2024, to May 6, 2024, debt held by the public rose by $478,402,286,425.95.

Still, that means that the growth in our outstanding national debt fell by an astounding 92%.

For decades now, every president has talked about doing something about our national debt. Trump is actually doing it.

51st state? Alberta’s break-up talk with Canada gets real: ‘It’s time that we’re set free’

Alberta’s threat to divorce Canada is getting more serious than ever.

Premier Danielle Smith announced this week that the oil-rich province could hold its first-ever referendum on independence in 2026, as the area’s pro-51st state activists ramp up calls to ditch the Great White North in favor of the star-spangled banner.

“Staying with Canada is finished,” Alberta resident Steve Harvey, 52, told The Post. “We’ve been an eagle locked up in a cage for decades because of Canada. It’s time that we’re set free.”Support for separation is currently polling at 36% with Alberta residents, with some in favor of becoming a 51st US state. Danielle Smith, Premier of Alberta and Leader of the United Conservative Party, addressing a press conference in Edmonton, Alberta on May 6, 2025, about the right to a referendum debate 5

Smith has tried to calm growing tensions by agreeing to hold a referendum on separation if enough people ask for one. Alberta’s beef with Canada comes from growing anger over what’s viewed as the Liberal government chocking the province’s oil industry.

“They’ve blocked new pipelines, cancelled various oil and gas projects and banned the very tanker ships needed to carry these resources to new markets,” Smith said this week in a livestreamed address to Albertans.“We just want to be free to develop and export that incredible wealth of resources we have for the benefit of our families and future generations.”

Fed up Albertans, who held a separation rally last week at the Edmonton legislature attended by close to 500, are also urging their countrymen to write to the White House to express support to join the union.

“This thing is real. There is momentum,” said Edmonton resident Jordon Kosik, who runs a Facebook group advocating for Alberta separation. It’s a standoff that’s been going on for years, but discontent has brewed stronger lately, with many Albertans emboldened by President Trump’s calls to make Canada his “cherished 51st state.”

Last week’s Liberal win was the last straw for many.

“I made it clear that Albertans will no longer tolerate the way we’ve been treated by the federal Liberals over the past 10 years,” a fed-up Smith warned in March after meeting new Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Actor John Cleese Suggests Hanging Stephen Miller ‘By the Neck’

Deletes Tweet

Harry Potter and Monty Python and the Holy Grail actor John Cleese suggested in a now-deleted post on social media, that White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller be suspended by his neck over comments made regarding habeas corpus.

“I see Stephen Miller says he is actively thinking about suspending ‘habeas corpus,'” Cleese wrote in a now-deleted post on X. “As this has been the keystone of the Rule of Law for centuries, I’d like to suggest that we actively think about suspending Stephen Miller… Preferably by the neck.”Cleese’s post comes as reports have surfaced that the Trump administration is thinking of suspending habeas corpus.

Per, ABC27 News, “habeas corpus is Latin for ‘that you have the body.'” According to the Cornell University School of Law, habeas corpus is Latin for “that you have the body.” Cornell says in the United States, federal courts can use habeas corpus to determine if a state’s prisoner detention is valid. The writ, or order, of habeas corpus is used to “bring a prisoner or other detainee (such as an institutionalized mental patient or illegal immigrant) before the court to determine if the person’s imprisonment or detention is lawful.”

When asked by a reporter about how President Donald Trump had talked “about potentially suspending habeas corpus to take care of the illegal immigration problem,” Miller explained that “the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus can be suspended in time of invasion,” according to ABC News.“The Constitution is clear, and that, of course, is the supreme law of the law, that the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus can be suspended in time of invasion,” Miller said.Miller also added that suspending habeas corpus was “an option” the Trump administration is “actively looking at.”

The Myth of Birthright Citizenship: A Constitutional and Historical Refutation

For far too long, the American legal and political landscape has been distorted by a fundamental misunderstanding of the 14th Amendment: that merely being born on U.S. soil makes one a citizen. This misconception contradicts the original intent of the amendment’s framers. Furthermore, it undermines the foundational principle that citizenship arises from allegiance, not geographic happenstance.

On May 15, the Supreme Court will take up three cases, consolidated under the name Trump v. CASA. It will address Donald Trump’s bold and necessary attempt to end the unconstitutional practice of granting citizenship to anyone born on U.S. soil, regardless of parental allegiance. The fact that the Court has chosen to hear these cases in May — a rare occurrence typically reserved for matters of utmost urgency — underscores just how pivotal this issue is. The stakes couldn’t be higher. At risk is the foundational principle that citizenship is rooted in allegiance, not mere geography. This is a principle that the Constitution clearly supports and that decades of judicial misinterpretation have dangerously eroded.

President Donald Trump’s executive order is at the crux of this case, and marks a critical moment in the battle to restore constitutional integrity. This action, however, has rekindled debate over whether birthright citizenship is truly required by the 14th Amendment. A closer examination of the Constitution, its framers’ intent, and relevant historical precedents reveals that birthright citizenship is neither constitutionally mandated nor consistent with the principles of American law and government.

President Donald Trump’s administration is likely to accept a luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from Qatar’s royal family, in what may be the most valuable gift ever received from a foreign government, ABC News reported Sunday.

The gift is expected to be announced this week, when Trump visits Qatar as part of his Middle East tour, ABC cited people familiar with the plans as saying.

The super luxury Boeing Co. 747-8 jumbo jet is to be used as Air Force One, the people told the network.

The White House and Department of Justice didn’t immediately respond to ABC’s request for comment, including on whether the gift is legal. A spokesperson for the Qatari embassy did not respond to requests for comment, ABC said.

President Trump has been seeking alternatives to replace the aging Air Force One, after chronic delays by Boeing in delivering two new aircraft the president ordered during his first term. The Air Force this month said Boeing is proposing to deliver its new version of Air Force One by 2027.

Rep. Elise Stefanik Officially Weighs Run for New York Governor in 2026

U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY) has announced she is “strongly considering” running for governor of New York in 2026.

Stefanik, who has represented New York’s 21st congressional district since 2015 and serves as chair of the House Republican Conference, made the announcement during an interview with Mark Levin, signaling her intent to challenge the Democrat-dominated political machine that has long controlled New York.

Stefanik:

“I am strongly considering running for governor of New York State. I’m a born-and-bred New Yorker. I’m proud to be the highest-ranking New York Republican who has really led the charge in holding New York elected Democrats accountable for their failures.

Whether it’s the economic crisis in New York — the highest-tax state in the nation, the most unfriendly to small businesses — you’re seeing a mass exodus of people who have been run out of the state because of Kathy Hochul’s failed policies.

Newly appointed acting FEMA Administrator David Richardson told employees during his first all-hands meeting not to get in his way when he is trying to achieve the president's objectives.

“Don’t get in my way if you’re those 20% of the people,” he told employees on Friday. “I know all the tricks.”

“Obfuscation. Delay. Undermining. If you’re one of those 20% of the people and you think those tactics and techniques are going to help you, they will not because I will run right over you,” he said, according to a source with knowledge of the meeting. “I will achieve the president’s intent. I am as bent on achieving the president’s intent as I was on making sure that I did my duty when I took my Marines to Iraq.”

Richardson was the assistant secretary for countering weapons of mass destruction prior to being appointed acting FEMA administrator. Sources have described Richardson as having an insular leadership culture.
