Ukraine should agree to Putin’s proposal of talks ‘immediately’ – Trump

The US president, however, expressed doubts that Kiev will be able to reach a deal with Moscow

Writing on Truth Social, Trump suggested the proposed direct negotiations would, at least, help to clarify the positions of the sides of the conflict and show “whether or not a deal is possible.”

“President Putin of Russia doesn’t want to have a Cease Fire Agreement with Ukraine, but rather wants to meet on Thursday, in Turkey, to negotiate a possible end to the BLOODBATH. Ukraine should agree to this, IMMEDIATELY,” the US leader wrote.

If it becomes clear that reaching a deal is not possible “European leaders, and the US, will know where everything stands, and can proceed accordingly,” Trump stated.

“I’m starting to doubt that Ukraine will make a deal with Putin,” he added.

Earlier in the day, the Russian president proposed that “the Kiev authorities resume the negotiations they interrupted in 2022” without any preconditions on May 15 in Istanbul. The peace settlement process must start with talks, which could ultimately yield “some kind of new truce and a new ceasefire,” Putin added.

“We are set on serious negotiations with Ukraine. Their aim is to eliminate the root causes of the conflict and to achieve a long-term lasting peace for a historical perspective,” the president stressed.

The Russian offer has been criticized by Kiev and its Western backers, who demand the talks be preceded by the establishment of at least a 30-day truce. This stance was reiterated by Vladimir Zelensky minutes after Trump made his remarks. The Ukrainian leader demanded a truce be announced on Monday.

Senators Cotton & Graham Work To Sabotage Chances Of Iran Deal

Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), two of the most hawkish members of Congress, are working together to sabotage the Trump administration’s chances of reaching a deal with Iran.

On Thursday, the senators held a press conference outlining a resolution they’re introducing that demands that any deal with Iran must include the total dismantlement of Tehran’s nuclear enrichment program, an idea that Iranian officials have made clear is a non-starter.

"To the Iranian regime: you claim all you want is a peaceful nuclear power program. You can have it, but you cannot enrich and you must dismantle," Graham said. "And you must dismantle now."

Graham and Cotton said that any deal must require ratification from the Senate and must also impose limits on Iran’s ballistic missile program and support for its allies in the region, conditions that are also a non-starter for Tehran.

"A treaty with Iran in this space is only possible if you get 67 votes," Graham said. "You’re not going to get 67 votes for a treaty regarding their nuclear program unless they deal with the missile program and their terrorism activity. So is it possible? Yes, if Iran changes."

The senators also repeated President Trump’s threat that if there is no deal, the US will attack Iran."

"Iran can either have a nuclear program that’s lying in ruins, smoking, destroyed, and dismantled, or it can have a peaceful civilian nuclear power program with no centrifuges, no enriching, no re-processing, and no pathway to a nuclear weapon," he said.

Trump has been threatening to bomb Iran over its nuclear program even though his intelligence agencies recently reaffirmed that there’s no evidence Tehran is building a bomb or that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has reversed his ban on the development of nuclear weapons.

Iran is currently enriching some uranium at 20% and 60%, which is still lower than the 90% needed for weapons-grade. Tehran has made clear that it’s willing to bring enrichment levels back down to 3.67%, the limit imposed by the JCPOA.

Iranian Accused of Plot on Israeli Embassy Entered UK Illegally, Was Living in Taxpayer-Funded House: Report

An Iranian man who was arrested in connection to the alleged terror plot on the Israeli embassy in London entered the UK illegally and was living in accommodation provided by the taxpayer, a report has claimed.

Earlier this month, police revealed that five Iranian nationals were arrested under suspicion of planning a terror attack, which later reports indicated was allegedly intended against the embassy for Israel in London.

According to a report from the Mail on Sunday, one of those arrested, a 40-year-old man from Iran, has been living in a taxpayer funded home in Rochdale managed by Serco for the government for over half a year.

The paper said that it is understood that he arrived in the UK illegally after crossing the English Channel from the beaches of Calais in France before claiming asylum in Britain.

Terrorism expert at Buckingham University Anthony Glees told the MoS: “The Calais boat route self-evidently presents a clear and present danger to national security.

“I have always said migrants should be met by warships, not lifeboats. A dedicated agent of a hostile state will use this route to come into the country.”

Neighbours told the paper that the Rochdale property had been run by contracting firm Serco since around 2015. A former asylum seeker inhabitant said that migrants living in the house did not pay any bills or rent as it was provided by Serco.

If this study is replicated and we see even half this amount of egg loss in humans, we’re in big trouble. If true, our population will then collapse and mass migration like we’ve never seen will occur, erasing nations and cultures.

Young western women took the COVID shots at extremely high rates while few 3rd world women got them. It’s not hard to do the math from there. We better pray this outcome is only possible with rats. These shots must be pulled from the market.

Celgene charges $1,000 for cancer drug that costs 25 cents to make

Celgene’s cancer drug pricing has sparked outrage, with patients paying $1,000 per pill for a medication that costs just 25 cents to produce. The drug in question, Revlimid, is a derivative of Thalidomide, a compound infamous for causing severe birth defects in the 1950s and 1960s. Despite its dark history, Thalidomide was repurposed as a treatment for multiple myeloma, a deadly blood cancer. While Revlimid has extended thousands of lives, its staggering price tag has placed it out of reach for many patients.

The numbers tell a troubling story. Revlimid has generated over $100 billion in total sales, making it one of the most profitable drugs in history. Yet the cost to manufacture each pill remains less than a dollar. Patients who rely on the drug often face financial ruin, forced into debt or left with no choice but to stop treatment. This is not about innovation, it’s about profit. Celgene, now owned by Bristol Myers Squibb, has aggressively defended its pricing, arguing that research and development costs justify the high price. However, critics point out that the company has spent far more on marketing and executive compensation than on actual drug development.

The tactics used to maintain Revlimid’s monopoly are equally disturbing. Celgene has repeatedly blocked generic competition, filing over 50 patents to extend its exclusivity. The company has also been accused of paying off potential competitors to delay cheaper alternatives from entering the market. Patients and advocacy groups have called for government intervention, but regulatory action has been slow.

The impact of these pricing schemes extends beyond individual patients. Insurance premiums continue to rise, driven in part by the exorbitant cost of drugs like Revlimid. Taxpayer-funded programs such as Medicare and Medicaid bear the burden, funneling billions into pharmaceutical giants while patients struggle to afford life-saving treatments.

Ivermectin Reverses Alzheimer's Disease

DEMENTIA & ALZHEIMER'S CURE: Fungal Infection in the Brain Produces Effects Similar to Alzheimer's

A previous anecdotal subscriber success story published two years ago by this Substack added some additional color on this developing research:

This anecdotal experience is of particular importance given that we now know that dementia and Alzheimer’s may be caused by fungal and viral infections. We may also extrapolate that these two diseases are exacerbated by VAIDS, especially given the surge of premature dementia and Alzheimer’s cases since the DEATHVAX™ rollout.

A research paper entitled, Fenbendazole Controls In Vitro Growth, Virulence Potential, and Animal Infection in the Cryptococcus Model describes a study that investigated the antifungal potential of fenbendazole against Cryptococcus neoformans and Cryptococcus gattii. The study found that fenbendazole was effective in inhibiting the growth of both species of fungi in vitro and in vivo. The article also found that fenbendazole reduced the virulence of C. neoformans in a mouse model of infection.

The authors of the study conclude that fenbendazole is a promising new antifungal agent for the treatment of cryptococcal infection. Fenbendazole is an inexpensive and well-tolerated drug that has been used safely for many years in the treatment of parasitic infections.

And since it is now strongly suspected that cryptococcal infection causes dementia and Alzheimer’s, the administration of repurposed drugs like fenbendazole represents truly safe and extremely effective treatment strategies.

Another research study entitled In vitro susceptibility of the opportunistic fungus Cryptococcus neoformans to anthelmintic benzimidazoles investigated the in vitro activity of ten benzimidazole derivatives and amphotericin B against three isolates of Cryptococcus neoformans.

The authors found that four of the benzimidazole derivatives, including mebendazole and albendazole, had moderately high activity against Cryptococcus neoformans. Fenbendazole, however, was 10-fold more active than the other benzimidazole derivatives and 2-fold more active than amphotericin B.

The authors also tested ten additional clinical isolates of Cryptococcus neoformans against fenbendazole, mebendazole, and albendazole. They found that the isolates were similarly susceptible to all three drugs.

The authors concluded that fenbendazole is a promising new antifungal agent for the treatment of cryptococcal infection. Fenbendazole is an inexpensive and well-tolerated drug that has been used safely for many years in the treatment of parasitic infections.

UK Education Secretary: Antisemitism in schools is 'national emergency'

“These lessons are needed now more than ever. The horrific surge in antisemitism among schoolchildren since October 7 is not merely concerning - it is a national emergency,” Phillipson stated.

Bridget Phillipson, the UK's Education Secretary, has called for more education surrounding the Holocaust following a rise in antisemitic incidents in schools and universities, in a conversation with The Times on Saturday.

Phillipson warned that antisemitism among schoolchildren has become a “national emergency” in the UK and believes that it must be tackled through compulsory lessons on the Holocaust.

“We must confront an alarming truth - the lessons of history are being forgotten by a growing number of our young people,” said Phillipson, during the same week that the UK marked the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

JPost Videos

“These lessons are needed now more than ever. The horrific surge in antisemitism among schoolchildren since October 7 is not merely concerning - it is a national emergency,” Phillipson stated. Adding, “That is why every child in every school across England will learn about the Holocaust, about antisemitism, and about how easily democracy can fracture when hatred goes unchallenged.”

The Community Security Trust (CST) reported a steep rise in antisemitism both in schools and universities since the October 7 attacks by Hamas. The British charity recorded 272 incidents over the past year, five times the average of previous years. In 2024, there were 260 reported antisemitic incidents in schools - the second-highest number on record after 2023, which saw 335 cases. This marks a significant increase compared to the 94 incidents in 2022.

Holocaust education in UK schools

The Holocaust is currently the only historic event that is compulsory within the British History curriculum. According to the UK government, students are required by law to be taught about it at Key Stage 3 (around the ages of 11 to 14). It has been a named topic on the curriculum since the first one was introduced in 1991.

However, academies, which make up approximately 80 percent of state-funded secondary schools, do not currently have to follow the national curriculum. Similarly, independent schools are excluded from this requirement, but in any case, many of them choose to teach based on the National Curriculum. There is also no formal requirement at the moment for Holocaust education in schools in Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.

While the curriculum requires this subject to be taught in History, it is also often covered in subjects such as Religious Studies and Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE).

History is only a required subject up to the age of 14 in the UK. However, GCSE and A-Level various exam boards, with the exception of those in Scotland, offer topics relating to the Holocaust for students aged 15 to 18.

A bill that is currently going through the House of Lords would require all schools, including academies, to follow the national curriculum.

An extensive survey, published by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims against Germany earlier this year, suggested that younger people lack basic knowledge about the Holocaust compared to older generations. The research revealed that a third of UK young adults aged 18 to 29, said that they did not know the names of any Nazi concentration camps or death camps.

“The bleak picture emerging from this survey is of a growing gap of knowledge of the Holocaust, which is particularly concerning in countries where Nazi atrocities took place,” Yad Vashem chairman, Dani Dayan, said in a statement.

US government so far this year spent more than same period of 2024 as GOP mulls spending cuts

The Congressional Budget Office reported that the U.S. government has spent $2.4 trillion from January through April 2025, which is $196 billion higher than the same timeframe from 2024,

Federal spending is higher in the first 7 months of this fiscal year compared to the same time period of 2024 as Republicans in Congress debate the level of spending reductions and tax cuts to include in their budget reconciliation bill.

After President Trump's election win in 2024, GOP congressional leaders had considered passing two separate bills using reconciliation but eventually decided on passing one mega-bill. Reconciliation is a tool that has been used by both parties to bypass the Senate filibuster. The budget bill now appears likely to pass by early July as congressional leaders continue to negotiate the details of the bill.

In addition to the overall level of spending cuts and amount of tax cuts, one of the sticking points in negotiations over the bill has been reforming Medicaid, which conservatives in Congress have been advocating to include in the budget reconciliation bill. Moderate Republicans have written to House Speaker Mike Johnson opposing Medicare changes.

As lawmakers continue to debate tax and spending policies, the latest data from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) shows that the U.S. government spent $2.4 trillion from January through April 2025, which is $196 billion higher than the same timeframe from 2024.

CRFB: "Unsustainable fiscal outlook"

"Tax receipts in April pushed borrowing for the first four months of the year $5 billion lower than last year," the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB) said in a press release about the latest data.

The U.S. has borrowed a total of $1.1 trillion in the first seven months of the current fiscal year, according to the latest CBO data estimates.

"Instead of continuing to add to our record high national debt with trillions in unpaid-for tax cuts and spending increases, lawmakers should come together to seriously address our unsustainable fiscal outlook," Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CFRB) said in a statement. "Our fiscal outlook is on a destructive path, and it is about time we do something to fix it," she added.

Republicans have not been able to agree on the level of spending cuts that should ultimately be included in the reconciliation bill, which is still being crafted. Trump has said he wants a "big, beautiful bill" that includes both tax cuts and spending reductions. A debt limit increase would also need to be passed.

Some Republicans like Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, have suggested that the final reconciliation bill likely won't pass before July. The House and Senate have each passed their own framework for the legislation, but the final contents of the legislation are still being negotiated.

Accounting firm Ernst & Young published an analysis quoting Cornyn as saying: "The House is planning, for now at least, to send its legislation through congressional committees. The Senate has no current plans to do that; they'll assemble their own bill or tweak whatever the House sends over. That could lead to a leadership-negotiated Senate bill that amends the House's work and tees up a final deal. There could be a world in which the House passes their bill, and then, you know, we're here."

Dr. Ryan Cole Sounds Alarm on mRNA Shots: A Catastrophe Unfolding

In a chilling assessment, Dr. Ryan Cole warns of the devastating aftermath of the mRNA injections, which he insists were never vaccines but experimental genetic concoctions. "The biggest problem we'll be fighting for years is chronic autoimmune disease," he declares.

These synthetic RNA shots, producing not just spike proteins but "Frankenstein proteins," have unleashed chaos on the immune system, triggering it to attack proteins it was never meant to encounter.

The consequences are staggering: global spikes in all-cause mortality, excess sudden deaths, and a surge in aggressive "turbo cancers" that show no signs of slowing.

Fertility rates are plummeting in many nations, a silent crisis unfolding. Dr. Cole's gravest concern? The long-term autoimmune fallout, as immune systems, destabilized by these unnatural proteins, spiral out of control.

"These were never vaccines," he emphasizes. "They were sold as salvation but delivered suffering." His urgent message: the world must reject synthetic RNA and genetic injections forever. The lesson is clear–humanity cannot afford to repeat this experiment.

Teenagers With Mental Health Disorders Spend An Extra Hour On Social Media

Adolescents diagnosed with mental health conditions spend nearly an hour more on social media daily than their peers and are twice as likely to compare themselves negatively to others online, according to new research.

The study, involving 3,340 adolescents in the UK, suggests troubling patterns for teens with anxiety and depression, who report having less control over their social media use and greater mood fluctuations depending on the comments and likes they receive on social media.

“Our study doesn’t establish a causal link, but it does show that young people with mental health conditions use social media differently than young people without a condition,” said lead author Luisa Fassi, a researcher at the University of Cambridge’s Medical Research Council Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit, in a press statement.

She said the differences between children with and without mental health conditions may stem from the way these conditions influence how adolescents interact with online platforms—or possibly from social media use contributing to their symptoms. “At this stage, we can’t say which comes first—only that these differences exist,” Fassi added.

Differences by Condition Type

The study, recently published in Nature Human Behavior, analyzed data from a 2017 survey of 3,340 UK adolescents between the ages of 11 and 19. Professional clinicians interviewed the teenagers and, in some cases, their parents and teachers.

Researchers distinguished between conditions affecting internal feelings—such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder—and those involving outward behaviors like attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and conduct disorder.

Teens with conditions affecting internal feelings, like depression and anxiety, showed the most significant differences in social media behavior.

Social comparison—meaning comparing themselves to others online—was twice as prevalent among adolescents with anxiety and depression compared to those without mental health conditions: 48 percent and 24 percent, respectively.

These teens were also significantly more likely to report mood changes in response to social media feedback—28 percent versus 13 percent—and felt less in control of their time spent on these platforms.

This pattern was not seen in children with ADHD, ODD, and conduct disorders.
