it's too early to point out that 80% of these children aren't coming with parents but are coming alone because they are either bought from parents to be sex slaves, etc, they are kidnapped to be trafficked on the worst part these big international 'charities' and groups who pass out literature and maintain a professional front persuade the parents of these children who only want a better life for their child that it awaits by going to America. The parents just want the best for their children and unknowningly send their children off with 'charities' who then transfer them to traffickers and coyotes.

there were pyschotherapists out there or at least there was in the 80's who had success with deprogramming and treating these people. but lord only knows how much more sophisticated the programmings are now. most of those therapists who sounded alarm ended up discredited or buried though so not sure many are left
opiates are effective in their natural form either laudenum or opium latex. there was no reason why they were ever synthesized into much stronger analogs, etc. stopping at just codeine which occurs naturally would have been enough for almost all kinds of pains, but it doesn't come with do absolutely anything to get more addiction that synthetic opiates or really concentrated strong ones do
