DHS approves 120,000 new H1B visas for next year.

And just like that, Microsoft lays off workers, about 126,000 of which are in the U.S. "โ€ฆfor success in a dynamic marketplace."

They're not switching tactics, just playing fields. You'd think they had known this would happen. Bring the jobs back to America, no problem, just bring the cheap labor along.

For every U.S. citizen laid off, a H1B should be denied. The work pool is here but the insane profits can't be made with a fair wage.

Is the the deal with the devil Trump made? He can tout all the jobs he wants- he's not saying who is going to get them.

Another joke on the U.S. worker-

Companies may advertise that they won't sponsor a visa worker. Sounds good, right? Nope. They get workers through contractors who will. How many tech companies do their own hiring these days?

So they can appear to be all upright but use a proxy to hire foreign workers anyway.

We are being replaced. The illegal thing got quashed but plan B was already in place and in use.
