Elections are like being run over by a train, and you lying on the track's broken and mangled, and the train driver comes up to you.

"oh, bugger" he says, "you are stuck in the middle, I see"

"you have a choice", he says, "I can back the train up, and go back the way we came, or I could drive the train forward, to our future, which would you prefer".

And you be like…FREEDOM, he respects muh democracy, muh freedom of choice….
