A meeting between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin brings with it the focus of the entire world. For a myriad of geopolitical reasons both domestically and abroad, there are ‘trillion-dollar’ interests who want to keep them apart.

Earlier today,fearingthat President Trump might actually travel to Turkey,NATO Secretary Mark Rutte and Senator Lindsey Graham quickly arranged dispatch to intercept and participate.The global intelligence apparatus wants to keep Trump and Putin apart==, so too does the NATO alliance, the CIA, the U.K and every other influence agent in partial control of the USA proxy war against Russia using Ukraine.

A decade of carefully scripted narratives against President Trump and any forward leaning Russian foreign policy sits in the background,with an almost incalculable number of opposition elementsaligned against President Trump forming any positive USA-Russia relationship. The talks between Ukraine and Russia on the neutral turf of Turkey turned into a geopolitical game of theatrics and narrative competition following the announcement that Vladimir Putin would not attend.

NATO Secretary Mark Rutte traveling to Turkey (a posturing participant) is yet another indication of the stupidity of it all. Ukraine is not a NATO country and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, while it may be grounded in the origin of NATO encroachment, does not involve NATO unless you inject the ancillary issues into the equation. All of this extraneous party posturing shows the reason why Russian President Putin did not attend.

After a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara, Zelenskyy chose to leave for home announcing he would send a delegation as the Russian group sat waiting for their peers to arrive. The back-and-forth between the two nations played out all day without any substantive negotiations or discussions. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Steve Witkoff and Keith Kellogg sat around in a holding pattern waiting to see if the two sides would eventually have representatives in place to talk to each other.

Making a statement from Air Force One, President Trump seemed to encapsulate the dynamic saying he did not think any progress was likely until he personally met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Look, nothing is gonna happen until Putin and I get together,” Trump told reporters on board Air Force One en route to the United Arab Emirates. “And he wasn’t gonna go … He wasn’t going if I wasn’t there. And I don’t believe anything will happen, whether you like it or not, until he and I get together. But we are gonna have to get it solved because too many people are dying.”

Later this afternoon Secretary of State Marco Rubio seemed to confirm that a Putin/Trump meeting was going to be needed to break the stalemate.

Russia-Ukraine talks conclude – media

The negotiations in Türkiye lasted around two hours

Direct talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul have ended, with the two delegations departing from the venue and press statements being prepared, a TASS source has said.

The head of the Ukrainian delegation, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, stated that Friday’s talks at Dolmabahce Palace had focused on a prisoner exchangeand versions of a potential ceasefire, according to RBK-Ukraine.

A potential meeting between Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin was also reportedly raised, and Umerov added thatan update on possible new negotiations would be shared soon.

He also stated that both delegations had agreed to an exchange involving 1,000 prisoners from each side. Russia’s chief negotiator, Vladimir Medinsky, also confirmed that an exchange is being prepared.

Medinsky added that Kiev had requested a meeting between Putin and Zelensky, and that Moscow has taken note of the proposal. He stated that overall, theRussian delegation was satisfiedwith the outcome of the talks and is ready to continue contacts.

According to Medinsky, Russia and Ukrainewill each present their detailed vision of a possible ceasefire, after which the negotiations will continue.

The talks had been expected to begin on Thursday, after Putin suggested resuming the negotiations which had been broken off in Istanbul three years ago.

The Russian team waited for the Ukrainian delegation to arrive for an entire day, although Zelensky (CIA turd) only named his delegation on Thursday evening.

Moscow and Ukraine last held direct talks in April 2022. Following initial reports that an agreement had been reached, Kiev unilaterally withdrew from the talks…

Russia, which had withdrawn its forces from the outskirts of Kiev as a goodwill gesture, later accused Ukraine of backtracking, saying it had lost trust in Kiev’s negotiators.

Two hours of negotiations, that’s it? Many meetings of this nature could go on for hours and even days. Kiev and Zelensky intentionally sabotaged the meeting on orders from the NWO, they never want to war to end. And they never want Trump and Putin in a face to face meeting.

Kremlin weighs in on chances for resuming Russia-NATO partnership

It is “difficult to talk” about détente with the bloc while it is essentially at war with Moscow, according to spokesman Dmitry Peskov

Russia does not see any openings for resuming its security dialogue with NATO while the bloc continues to back Kiev in the conflict with Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.At the same time, he stressed that the two sides will have to discuss security issues sooner or later.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Peskov was asked to comment on a Bloomberg report claiming that the US had included a proposal to revive NATO-Russia Council (NRC) security talks as part of a broader effort to settle the Ukraine conflict.

Peskov stated that Russia had received “no substantial offers” on the matter while ruling out a return to any formal partnership with the bloc as unrealistic in the current geopolitical landscape.“It is difficult to talk about resuming any kind of dialogue when NATO while it is effectively at war with the Russian Federation.”

Still, the spokesman acknowledged that “issues related to security and stability on the European continent must, of course, be discussed – and the sooner that begins, the better.”

Formed in 2002, the NATO-Russia Council was designed to build trust and promote transparency in the post-Cold War era.The two sides held consultations on security issues, arms control, and counterterrorism.

NATO suspended all practical cooperation with Moscow after Crimeavoted to join Russia in 2014 following a Western-backed coup in Kiev.

General accused of Afghan cover-up takes helm of Royal Navy

Gwyn Jenkins reportedly withheld evidence of extrajudicial SAS killings in Afghanistan instead of forwarding the matter to military police

The British government has appointed General Gwyn Jenkins as First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff. Approved by King Charles III on Thursday, the decision follows unresolved allegations that Jenkins hadfailed to report suspected war crimes in Afghanistan and later obstructed the relocation of key witnesses.

The general succeeds Admiral Ben Key, who stepped down last week amid an ongoing misconduct investigation. Media reports suggest that the probe centers on Key’s alleged affair with a more junior female colleague.

Jenkins came under scrutiny two years ago when the BBC reported that the then-Vice-Chief of the Defense Staff hadfailed to forward evidence of Special Air Service (SAS) soldiers executing handcuffed detainees in Afghanistanto the Royal Military Police.

At the time, Jenkins did not respond to the allegations. The UK Ministry of Defense stated that it was “not appropriate for us to comment on allegations which may be within the scope of the statutory inquiry.”

In April 2024, then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunakappointed Jenkins—then Vice-Chief of the Defense Staff—as National Security Adviser. However, the appointment was later reversed by the incoming government led by Keir Starmer. While Starmer declined to comment on individual appointments, he emphasized the need for an “open and transparent process” for future nominations. Media outlets attributed the reversal to Jenkins’ implication in the ongoing inquiry.

Earlier this month, BBC Panorama reported thatJenkins had overseen the rejection of hundreds of relocation applications submitted by Afghan commandoswho had served alongside British forces and possessed direct knowledge of UK military operations. The report stated that theserejections effectively blocked key witnessesfrom reaching Britain and testifying in the public inquiry into the Afghan conflict.

I just thought about Trump saying “”he’s meeting Putin in an unknown destination”, what if Trump already met Putin in one of the Arabian countries? Probably one of the last, wasn’t Qatar I think is the one that Trump and the Emir meeting started out at the airport and then proceeding on to the Palace (an hour or two later).

I was wondering what was the point of the first meeting at the airport?
