Trump's tariffs were supposed to already have sent the U.S. economy into an inflationary death spiral. But the April data is in and it turns out, nope. Wholesale prices were LOWER in April compared to March.

According to the chief international economist of a major European bank, "There is little evidence, so far, that tariffs are inflationary. Instead profit margins are being squeezed."
