Ship carrying 200 people hits the Brooklyn Bridge as search and rescue operation

Boat collides with NYC’s Brooklyn Bridge

A large ship collided with the Brooklyn Bridge, triggering a search & rescue.

The vessel carried 200 passengers. According to the NYP, victims are being transported to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, with those in critical condition moved to a nearby hospital.

That boat was sailing backwards and looks like a tug trying to grab it. Plus there were Sailors up on top of those yardarms who fell in the water or down on the boat.
