Barron is not Q, it has to be someone with Q clearance, but that doesn't stop the DS from targeting him for whatever reason. The DS considers killing your family or pets, just as big of a win as who they are after because they know the psychological impact it causes and most times does allow them to control out of fear of losing other loved ones.
