I believe it went very well.

Russia and Ukraine will immediately start negotiations toward a Ceasefire and, more importantly, an END to the War.

The conditions for that will be negotiated between the two parties, as it can only be, because they know details of a negotiation that nobody else would be aware of.

The tone and spirit of the conversation were excellent. If it wasn’t, I would say so now, rather than later.

Russia wants to do largescale TRADE with the United States when this catastrophic “bloodbath” is over, and I agree.

There is a tremendous opportunity for Russia to create massive amounts of jobs and wealth. Its potential is UNLIMITED. Likewise, Ukraine can be a great beneficiary on Trade, in the process of rebuilding its Country.

Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will begin immediately.

Texas House OKs Bill To Sue Vaccine Makers for False Ads

In a major victory for accountability and informed consent, the Texas House of Representatives passed HB 3441 yesterday, a bill that would allow Texans to sue vaccine manufacturers whose advertising leads to injury or harm.

NATO state pledges $600 million to Ukraine

You’ve released phase one of the Epstein files. British surgeon working in Gaza says it is now 'a slaughterhouse' amid Israeli bombardment

Dr Tom Potokar, who is based in southern Gaza, says he is treating "awful explosive injuries".

Dr Tom Potokar offered his assessment of the military offensive after Palestinian health officials reported at least 130 people were killed overnight into Sunday.

Israel Defence Forces (IDF) confirmed troops had begun "extensive ground operations throughout the northern and southern Gaza Strip".

In a video, Dr Potokar said it was "another day of devastation here in Gaza", adding: "The stories coming from the north… absolutely horrific… particularly around the Indonesian Hospital.

"I mean, it's difficult to describe in words what's happening here… [with the] constant sound of bombardment jets overhead.

"If Cambodia was the killing fields, then Gaza now is the slaughterhouse."

Australian politicians will go to extraordinary lengths to obfuscate, excuse and lie about their country’s arms trade with Israel but recent investigations by human rights groups, independent media and the Australian Greens reveal that Australia is in breach of every international law prohibiting the sale of arms to countries committing war crimes.

Among the most egregious examples is Australia’s contribution to Israel’s Lockheed-Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter — the most technologically advanced and lethal fighter jet in the world. Each plane can carry a payload of up to 10 massive bombs — four internally and six mounted on the wings – each capable of obliterating apartment buildings, schools and hospitals and atomising the bodies of hundreds of Palestinians. Every day in Gaza, survivors of these attacks comb through the rubble for the remains of their loved ones.

Australia plays a critical role in the global supply chain of parts for Israel’s F-35 fighter jets. The Confusion Within the Federal Government About the Nature of Its Core Institutions

For better or worse, Canada is a constitutional monarchy. The imperial connotations of this term cause eyes to roll in western Canada. The imperial character of Canada as a colonial outgrowth of the British Empire has become especially popular in Alberta, the probable site of a future referendum on whether the province should become an independent country.

I have sometimes written positively about this development. The allure of independence and various forms of secession from Canada, however, should not impede the need to do in the near future a much better job in improving the quality of Canada’s existing constitutional monarchy. The cynical abuse of the system of governance in the federal election of 2025 should be proof enough that, at the very least, remedies are required to restore democratic effectiveness to the important Office of the Governor General.

The Governor-General’s appointment should be stripped from the powers available to Prime Ministers. The appointing agency must have an arm’s length relationship to government, not be the government. The appointment process should include some level of training in what it means to be a non-partisan Crown official.

To my way of thinking the video below conveys a sense of the high level of confusion even within Canada’s federal government about how to envisage the role of “the Crown” in the constitutional monarchy of Canada. The event took place in 2022 to signify the death of Queen Elizabeth and her replacement by King Charles III. Justin Trudeau and Mary Simon took part in the ceremony although is not exactly clear how we should envisage the nature of the governmental relationship linking them.

Child sex ring horror in South Africa's illegal mines: Witnesses describe how youths are sent underground and passed around by miners to be raped

Underage workers are being abused in illegal South African gold mines, an investigation has found.

Minors are being recruited for both cheap labour and to exploit them for sex, according to the BBC.

Most of the children in the mine are foreign and do not understand what they are getting into, according to a whistleblower.

Jonathan, now in his late 20s, had migrated to South Africa from a nearby country on the promise of making easy money working in one of its dozens of disused mines.

These mines have previously been closed by multinational firms due to a lack of commercial viability, but are still utilised by illegal workers and controlled by criminal gangs.

During his six months labouring underground, he said workers faced long hours with limited food and sleeping options in hot conditions at a mine near Stilfontein, which was put under siege by police last year. Up to 100 miners are believed to have died in the blockade.

However, Jonathan, who's identity is being protected for fear of retribution from the criminal gangs who operate the mines, also spoke of the horrific treatment of underage miners.

Sex was used by adult workers both as a punishment for the child workers and as 'payment' for any gold they found.

'I used to see these kids in the mine - teenagers actually, 15, 17-year-olds,' he told the BBC.

'Others used to take advantage of them sometimes. It was a little bit scary, and I wasn't comfortable with it.

'If that kid is desperate for money, he will take the risk.'

Tshepo, another former worker turned whistleblower, said older men were sexually abusing underage workers while underground.

He added: 'In some instances, they did it for the money.

'Some are recruited solely for that purpose, because of the financial incentives that will come with the practice of maybe trading sex underground.

'They change their behaviour patterns and have trust issues. They don't want you to get close to them, because they feel that they can no longer trust anyone.'

Save the Children South Africa have said that adults working in the mine groom the children over time before the abuse.

The charity's CEO Gugu Xaba said: 'They went through trauma, because some of them also saw others being sexually exploited.

'Just the feeling that they may not come out of there destroyed those children mentally.

'You find that the adult will have three or four of them that they are doing the same thing to.

'Most children are trafficked in order to be used as sex slaves. And you've got a pimp who is taking the money, and it means every day this child is used as a commercial sex worker.

'Children find themselves with no choice. So it's easier to use a child to do the work.'

Cosgrove then noted the death of Mark Middleton, "who was a former Clinton White House aide, who was found dead on a Clinton Foundation property. I'll just quote from the Arkansas Times. Middleton apparently shot himself in the chest with a sh0tgun and also hung himself from a tree with an extension cord. So I have no idea how somebody commits suicide that way, but if the Washington Post is here, maybe you can enlighten us as to how that was actually a suicide.

"That's just a lead into my question about the most famous Clinton-related su*cide, which is that of Jeffrey Epstein. There's still a lot of questions around that case," Cosgrove continued. "You've released phase one of the Epstein files. What was missing from that is any connection to his ties to intelligence agencies. And that's really the whole story, that not just trafficking young girls, but doing it on behalf of intelligence agencies, and even potentially as part of a blackmail ring with potential ties to the Israeli government.

"For phase two, when can we expect it? Will it have information pertaining to those aspects of the Epstein case?"

Leavitt deflected, responding: "I know the Attorney General has committed to releasing those files. I would defer you to the Department of Justice on her timeline, but when she has made a promise in the past, she has kept it, and I'm certain that she will in this case as well."
