All municipal Police Departments should be deemed unconstitutional and should be disbanded.
Only the elected Sheriffs should be allowed to enforce laws our elected representatives pass into law.
Same thing goes for State Police Departments.
no. wrong. the sheriff departments would expand to take up the slack from PoPo. Point is, we ELECT Sheriffs.
i am not. i have a retired police commander on one side of my home and a retired army officer on the other side. i feel safe enough. but police departments have zero accountability. at least sheriffs have to face elections.
