I just ordered Starlink! Looking forward to having a decent internet connection again and being more involved than I have in the past. I'm glad I paid attention even if I was skeptical of you at first (it's hard to trust anyone around President Trump after the first term), you proved you're really helping America and because of that, I feel good about this. You're helping rural anons like me and thats kick ass.

Equipment was like 200 bucks (I did refurbished) and per month is 120 (I went with unlimited data cause ima GAME on there, plus upload stuff regularly).

It's the same price as the terrible rural internet but actually really good, so I'm stoked. I straight up didn't have internet before this for the last 3 years. I tried using the rural broadband internet for a few months but it was no better than using my phone as a mobile hot spot which is good enough to have one device stream youtube but basically nothing else. Spotty connectivity with that. Starlink will be amazing, I'll be able to game online again which I really miss, and I can do all the online stuff I do like right now.

When I wanted to upload videos or do any internet stuff on the weekend of any consequence, I would have to go to the local coffee shop in town, which was nice, but far from convenient. I unironically think I'll make a significant impact by having this. For example: want to dox chinese sub bases? Just ask AI what topography they need, what cover they need (nuke power plant above) stuff like that, and there ya go, instant specific answers.

The gatekeeping issue is the bullshit HR-tier restrictions. You have to have arbitrary certificates for EVERYTHING nowdays, while boomers could just buy a toolbox and "be a plumber." That being said I skirt those retarded rules constantly and it's partly why I've done well in life.

They can try and make new rules but I think the new model is less rules, because we all know the rules don't benefit us, the American People.
