They think the law is whatever they say it is and think nothing of violating the rights of someone exercising a constitutionally protected activity.

No, you do not agree to hand over your ID whenever asked. There are only specific situations where they can lawfully demand ID, and this is not one of them. Why do they all feel so emboldened to deny basic rights? Because they get away with it.

==Hands against the wall!!! Over A Dozen Deputies Surround Auditor For Recording in Publicly Accessible Area.

Basic constitutionally protected right, and look at how they act. Has anyone noticed a pattern of practice in LE all across the nation to chill the peoples free press right to record?

DOC officer demands journalist credentials (not a thing), steps into journalist face and says "I'm in my building".

They really do think it's theirs and not the peoples. They think they're above us rather than below.

Another cop who thinks he can lawfully demand ID from anyone as long as he says "I'm investigating".

Notice they always leave out the part that requires them to have reasonable articulable suspicion of a CRIME, not just them being suspicious??? They don't get ID for investigating a constitutionally protected activity since that can not be turned into a crime.

There is a clear pattern of practice across this nation of them lying to deny peoples 4th amendment right not to ID. Deprivation of rights under color of law is a CRIME.

Kid opens door to cop, closes door to run get mom, cop barges in, says "I own your house now" when told to GTFO. Arrests mom. Can anyone explain why domestic terrorists like this aren't in prison?

He tried to claim it was illegal for alcohol (moms) to be in the house with minors.

All charges were eventually dropped against her.
