Well, apparently long before the White House announced a historic ‘first ever’ trip to Qatar, the Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin AbdulrahmanAl Thani began telling their lobbyists in DC to reach out to conservative media influencers with lucrative payments to shape a favorable pro-Qatar narrative.

That said, if Qatar had a media strategy to enhance a foreign policy agenda with the Trump administration, well, that wouldn’t be a surprise; it’s just how things are done. ‘Security Incident’ at CIA Headquarters Has Massive Police Presence, Entrance Closed

A massive police presence could be seen early Thursday at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, and the entrance is closed, sources told Breitbart News.

“There was a security incident that law enforcement responded to outside CIA Headquarters. The main gate is currently closed, employees should seek alternative routes. Additional details will be made available as appropriate,” a CIA spokesperson told Breitbart News.

The CIA announced the entrance closure on X:

NBC Washington reported that Fairfax County officers responded to reports of someone being shot “on CIA property” around 4 a.m.

The shooting was “non-fatal” and an investigation is under way.

CIA headquarters was locked down on March 19, 2025, “after a man brandished what appeared to be a handgun outside the building,” according to ABC News.

Report: Disney, ABC Executives Ask ‘The View’ Hosts to Tone Down Trump Bashing

Executives with Disney and ABC News have reportedly asked The View hosts to tone down their bashing of Presdient Donald Trump and political rhetoric overall.

While The View hosts have never shied away from bashing Trump and Republicans in general,executives within the company have reportedly grown weary with the show’s over-emphasis on politics, feeling that it has strayed from its original inception as a talk show for women. According to the Daily Beast, two sources confirmed that Disney CEO Bob Iger and ABC News President Almin Karamehmedovic recently held a meeting with The View hosts and executive producer Brian Teta asking them to shift the conversation away from politics.

“Karamehmedovic highlighted episodes with celebrity guests that he said were highly rated, one source said, and encouraged them to lean into such coverage moving forward,” noted the outlet.

While the Iger and Karamehmedovic did not go far to demand a change,the suggestion still upset the hosts, with Ana Navarro reportedly telling them that their audience tunes into the show for political perspectives.

“‘This is what our audience wants. Isn’t it gonna look kind of bad if we’re all of a sudden not talking about politics?’”Ana Navarro reportedly told the two executives.

Other hosts reportedly found the suggestions “silly” and vowed to “keep doing their thing.” During Disney’s Upfront presentation to advertisers last week, Navarro reportedly confronted Iger about the suggestion, per the Daily Beast:

Navarro thanked Iger for allowing the hosts to continue doing their jobs in a politically turbulent environment, the sources said. Iger confirmed he supported the show—but he also reaffirmed that the show needed to tone down its political rhetoric, the sources said.

Another source familiar with the matter said ABC will “constantly have conversations with talent based on viewer feedback, and this instance was no different,” suggesting the show’s viewers have indicated that they want the show to be less political.

Executives asking The View to tone down the political rhetoric comes months after the hosts were forced to issue several legal notes for exaggerated statements about Trump’s cabinet picks on air.It also comes after CBS News and its parent company, Paramount Global, have been working to reach a settlement with President Trumpfor alleged election interference over a heavily edited interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris during a 60 Minutes segment last year.

Republicans Call on FTC to Investigate Google for Email Suppression

Republicans have called on the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to investigate the tech conglomerate Google for censorship and email suppression.

In a joint formal letter to FTC Chair Andrew Ferguson released on Wednesday, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) and the National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC) said that Google has engaged in “Big Tech suppression of conservative speech,” attesting that emails sent to their supporters were immediately sent to “spam folders.”

“In recent election cycles, the national party committees had a substantial number of the emails we send to our supporters routed to the recipients’ spam folders where they are never viewed,” the letter said. “This problem is particularly evident when the committees attempt to send emails to usersof Google’s Gmail service, which routinely delivers fewer emails to inboxes than do other email service providers.”

“These emails are not spam; the committees that we lead only send emails to individuals who have voluntarily opted in to receive emails from us, and we respect every opt-out request that we receive,” the letter added. The letter further stressed that party members should be able to communicate with their supporters via email without having their messages sent to spam folders. The letter also charged that suppressing those email messages also hurts the party’s ability to fundraise. “The cost of Google’s suppression should therefore be calculated not only in dollars never raised, but in votes never cast,” the letter said.

As noted by the EconoTimes, the Republican Party previously filed a lawsuit against Google for “allegedly suppressing conservative content was dismissed by the courts.”

“The renewed allegations underscore ongoing tensions between conservative lawmakers and Silicon Valley giants, particularly over data handling, algorithm transparency, and content moderation policies,” noted the outlet. “The outcome of the FTC’s investigation could have wide-reaching implications for political campaigns and digital communication practices ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.”

Unhinged Federal Judge SHREDS US Attorney Alina Habba Over Arrest of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka

A federalmagistrate judgeon Wednesday blasted US Attorney Alina Habba for criminally charging Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and then dismissing his charges nearly a week later.

The Mayor of Newark was arrested for criminal trespass earlier this month after storming the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility.

US Attorney Alina Habba on Monday evening announced her office dropped a misdemeanor trespass charge against Newark Mayor Ras Baraka.

The charge against Baraka was related to his riotous activity at the Delaney Hall ICE detention center earlier this month.

“After extensive consideration, we have agreed to dismiss Mayor Baraka’s misdemeanor charge or trespass,” Alina Habba said in a statement posted to X on Monday evening.

“In the spirit of public interest, I have invited the mayor to tour Delaney Hall. The government has nothing to hide at this facility, and I will personally accompany the mayor so he can see that firsthand,” Habba said.

Habba also announced her office charged Democrat Congresswoman LaMonica McIver for assaulting ICE agents.

Judge Andre Espinosa, who previously warned US Attorney Alina Habba against making public statements about Ras Baraka, held a virtual hearing on the matter on Wednesday afternoon.

During the hearing, Judge Espinosa blasted Alina Habba and said the arrest and swift decision to dismiss charges against Ras Baraka “suggests a worrisome misstep.”

The judge scolded prosecutors and said they must “operate with a higher standard…”

The “hasty arrest” and swift dismissal of a trespassing charge against Mayor Ras Baraka “suggests a worrisome misstep” by interim U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Alina Habba, a federal judge said Wednesday afternoon.

U.S. Magistrate Judge André M. Espinosa granted what he called the “embarrassing retraction” of the misdemeanor charge following a May 9 incident at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Newark that unfolded in a tussle between federal authorities and three members of Congress and resulted in the arrest of the city’s Democratic mayor, who is also running for governor.

Espinosa said an arrest is a “severe” step, not part of an investigation, and he said prosecutors must not try to secure convictions at all cost, satisfy public clamor or advance political agendas.

“Your office must operate with a higher standard than that,”he said.

Trump rejected idea of ‘unconditional’ Ukraine ceasefire – WSJ

Moscow has repeatedly raised concerns that Kiev could exploit a truce to rearm and replenish its ranks

US President Donald Trump has reportedly rejected demands by EU officials that negotiations on the Ukraine conflict should result in an unconditional ceasefire, the Wall Street Journal has reported citing sources.

Following a call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, Trump held phone calls with Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and British PM Keir Starmer.The European leaders reportedly insisted that Trump should apply more pressure on Putin and demanded that the next round of talks on resolving the conflict must end with an unconditional truce.

Trump, however, reportedlyindicated that he did not like the use of the term “unconditional,”particularly in the context of discussing measures to resolve the Ukraine conflict. The WSJ claimed that theEuropean leaders “eventually agreed to drop their insistence on the adjective.”

Over the past few weeks, Russia has announced several limited ceasefires, specifically to observe holidays such as Orthodox Easter and Victory Day. Moscow and Kiev also relaunched direct peace talks in Istanbul, Türkiye last week, marking the first time the two sides sat together since Ukraine unilaterally abandoned negotiations in 2022.

However, Kiev, as well as itsWestern backers, has continued to insist on a 30-day unconditional ceasefire. Moscow has repeatedly rejected the demand, arguing that a number of issues have to be addressed before such a measure can be agreed.

The Kremlin has indicated that it is open to the idea of a ceasefire in general, but has demanded guarantees that Ukraine wouldn’t exploit the truce to rearm and regroup its forces only to resume hostilities at a later date.

Russian officials have also stressed that Moscow would prefer to work towards establishing a long and just peace that would resolve the root causes of the conflict rather than negotiating short-term tactical pauses in the fighting.

(Zelensky has pushing this idea for the last year, to get Russia with its guard down. Ukraine has not honored any ceasefire, and have bombed the nuclear power plant in a pause. The EU thinks Trump doesn’t know this, but he do!)

Romania’s top court rejects complaint about presidential election interference

Similar claims following an anti-establishment candidate’s first round win last year resulted in the vote being scrapped

Romania’s Constitutional Court hasrejected an election challenge filed by presidential candidate George Simion, ruling on Thursday that his claims of foreign interference were “unfounded.”Months earlier, the same court had annulled the first round of a vote, citing “irregularities” and intelligence claims of external meddling.

On Sunday, the conservative EU critic lost a run-off vote against pro-Brussels Bucharest Mayor Nicusor Dan by a single-digit margin. Simion contested the outcome on Tuesday,alleging “external interferences by state and non-state actors,” but the court unanimously rejected his petition.

The ruling is final, the court said in a statement, pledging to provide a full explanation at a later date. In response, Simion, who has accused several nations, including France, of orchestrating interference,labeled the court’s decision a “continuation of a coup d’état” and vowed to continue his political fight.

Last year, independent right-wing presidential candidate Calin Georgescu secured an unexpected lead, which the government attributed to foreign voter manipulation. Investigative journalists later suggested the campaign that triggered the annulment may have been orchestrated by a Romanian political party to divide the conservative electorate. Georgescu was disqualified from the re-run.

Telegram founder Pavel Durov claimed last week that the head ofFrance’s foreign intelligence agency, the DGSE, had asked him to suppress conservative voices on the platform during Romania’s campaign season. The agency publicly denied the allegation. Durov in turn accused French authorities of deflecting criticism by linking him to unrelated criminal investigations involving users of his platform.

Following Simion’s challenge, Durov offered to testify before Romanian authorities about the interactions with French officials, saying he would do so “if it helps Romanian democracy.”

Ahead of the run-off vote, Romania’s Foreign Ministry accused Russia of attempting to influence the outcome. Moscow ridiculed the allegations, calling the process a “mess” and stating that it shouldn’t even count as a proper vote.

Two Israeli embassy staff shot dead outside Jewish Museum in Washington DC

US authorities are investigating a fatal shooting near an American Jewish Committee event in the capital

Two Israeli Embassy staff members were shot dead near the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC, on Wednesday evening, in what Israeli officials have condemned as a “depraved act of anti-Semitic terrorism.”

The attack occurred during an event hosted by the American Jewish Committee (AJC) at the museum. Authorities confirmed that two individuals connected to the Israeli Embassy were gunned down just outside the venue, but their names have not yet been released.

“Two Israeli Embassy staff were senselessly killed tonight near the Jewish Museum in Washington, DC,” US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem posted on X. “We are actively investigating and working to get more information to share.”

The incident took place near 3rd Street and F Street Northwest,directly across from the FBI’s Washington Field Office. Police cordoned off the area shortly after the shooting, urging the public to avoid the scene. A person of interest has reportedly been detained for questioning, but no arrests had been announced as of late Wednesday evening.

The Israeli Embassy confirmed it is cooperating closely with US law enforcement and clarified that the ambassador was not present at the time of the attack.

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon condemned the shooting, describing it as a deliberate attack on Jews and Israeli representatives. “The fatal shooting that took place outside the event at the Jewish Museum in Washington, DC, is a depraved act of antisemitic terrorism,” he posted on social media.

US Attorney General Pam Bondi and Interim US Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro arrived at the scene shortly after the shooting. Bondi stated that federal officials were “working to learn more” and would ensure that those responsible are held accountable.

The Capital Jewish Museum, which opened its new building in 2023, is located in the heart of DC andregularly hosts events highlighting Jewish heritage and community engagement. Wednesday’s gathering was part of an AJCprogram bringing together diplomats, community leaders, and Jewish organizations.

Ted Deutch, CEO of the AJC, expressed devastation over the incident. “An unspeakable act of violence took place outside the venue,” he said in a statement. “At this moment, as we await more information from the police about exactly what transpired, our attention and our hearts are solely with those who were harmed and their families.”

North Korea reports ‘serious incident’ during naval destroyer launch

Leader Kim Jong-un has demanded the damaged ship’s restoration before June, according to state media

North Korean state media reported a “serious accident” during the attempted launch of a 5,000-ton naval destroyer on Wednesday.

The country’s leader, Kim Jong-un, attended the side-launch ceremony at the Chongjin Shipyard.He observed the incident and issued a stern rebuke, news outlets said.

According to reports,the slide system beneath the ship’s stern activated prematurely, resulting in a failure of the slides to move in parallel and damage to the vessel. Officialsattributed the incident to “inexperienced command and operational carelessness.”

Kim condemned the mishap as an unacceptable act of criminal negligence and ordered immediate repairs. He instructed that the warship be fully restored before a major meeting of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea in June.The government reportedly views the failure as a political embarrassmentwith implications for the country’s global image.

No photos or video footage of the incident have been released by Pyongyang.

South Korea’s military confirmed it has been monitoring the construction of the destroyer, adding thatthe ship appeared to be partially capsized following the failed launch.

Last month, North Korea unveiled a new destroyer, the Choe Hyon, and conducted a weapons demonstration shortly afterward. According to reports, the warship fired cruise missiles designed to strike targets at various ranges, an anti-aircraft missile, and a 127mm automatic gun during the test.
